Dear colleagues and friends, I am honored to sincerely welcome you to the XIX International Symposium on behalf of the Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Serbia, Montenegro and the Republic of Srpska and in my personal name. This year, our work and social activities continue in Banja Luka, which allows us to remain our rich tradition that the Association keeps and inherits, and with the aim of strengthening the cooperation of gynecologists-obstetricians in the region and advancing our profession. Since the Association has re-established its work after the break, we have invested a lot of effort to build all its capabilities. In 2015, the Association organized the XVII Symposium in Belgrade with the participation of over 40 prominent lecturers from the region and abroad. The Gynecologist and Obstetrician Association of Montenegro contributed in 2016 by the organization of a very successful XVIII Symposium in Budva. In December 2017, the XV International Congress of the Association with almost 100 lecturers was organized in Belgrade. Within the 3 congress days we had been introduced with the innovations in the fields of gynecology, gynecological oncology, uroginology, perinatology and obstetrics as well as in vitro fertilization, infertility and gynecological endocrinology. We continue the respectable tradition and quality work. The Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of the Republic of Srpska is our this year s host, and we are very grateful to them. Symposium will be attended by eminent experts from its fields, and the program covers important topics from contemporary gynecology and obstetrics. I hope that the XIX International Symposium will justify your expectations and we will all use this wonderful opportunity to contribute to the reputation and quality of our profession. The symposium will be held at the Hotel Bosna in the Crystal Hall from September 26 to September 30, 2018. Topics of the three-day symposium are: high-risk pregnancy and gynecological oncology and within the symposium we organize the first IAN DONALD ultrasound school. Plenary lectures, daily and individual sessions will include the most current topics in gynecology and obstetrics, which will be presented by the leading national and international experts. Oral presentations of original works and poster works will be grouped according to Symposium themes. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Abstract Submission Guidelines: Works for poster or oral presentation are submitted in an electronic form of an abstract only. Abstract should be sent to technical organizer e-mail: office@ sky2travel.net. Abstracts can be accepted for oral or poster presentation, authors will be notified by email. Abstract should be sent in native language of the author or English Language, Word, font: Times new Roman, font size: 12, Line spacing 1.5. Tables should be done in Word by the same rules. Every work should have an abstract in the language of the author as well as in English, the names of the authors and co-authors, with the name of the institutions they work in, as a mandatory field. Abstract should not contain more than 300 words. Literature has to have up to 5 quotations. In the field NOTE in the application form mark the type of presentation (oral or poster). Estimated time for oral presentation is 15 minutes.
