ANSWER You have the choice of four different use durations of French s Point Estate for your celebration: Sunday Only Event: 9am - 11pm Sunday Saturday Only Event: 9am - Midnight Saturday Basic Weekend Event: Noon - Midnight Friday + 9am - Midnight Saturday Complete Weekend Event: Noon - Midnight Friday, 9am - Midnight Saturday, 9am - Noon Sunday NOTE: In order to comply with sound ordinance requirements, all guest activity must be limited to inside the Estate until closure: page 1 Friday & Saturday at 10pm Sunday at 9pm

Q3. What is included in House Tableware Service? ANSWER French s Point will provide tableware for your dining events for up to 200 guests. We will set up and clean up these table wares. Q4. How many guests can French s Point Estate accommodate for events? ANSWER French s Point Estate will host events as large as 300 guests. There are many options for how you utilize the spaces available for your event. Q5. Where can we rent linens and custom rental ware for our celebration? ANSWER You will need to rent table linens, bar ware, and any other customized rental provisions not included on our House Tableware Service list for your event. You will also need to rent tableware for your event should your guests count exceed 200 guests. French s Point recommends Wallace Events for rental provisions. Q6. Do we have to clean up after our events? ANSWER French s Point Estate will be cleaned between your events at a convenient time scheduled with the General Manager after your personal effects have been removed. French's Point is not responsible for cleaning up after cuisine & beverage service. Your caterer and/or bar provider must provide this service before the end of your access period and remove the trash related to the event. Q7. Can you hold a date for us? ANSWER French s Point does not hold dates without a reservation. Dates are available on a first come, first served basis. Reservation of your date is official once your contracts and deposit have been received. We are happy to provide you with our availability for dates you are considering. Q8. Do you have a list of preferred vendors for our event and do we have to use them? page 3 ANSWER We do have a preferred vendor list to help you with the planning of your celebration. We have had exceptional experience working with these vendors in the past. The list includes a full range of providers for your wedding day. You are welcome to work with vendors not included on this list provided they have liability insurance and proper licensing.
Q9. Can we select our own caterer? ANSWER Yes! Cuisine service is not limited to the providers on our preferred vendor list. You can choose your own caterer provided they have liability insurance and proper licensing. Caterers have the use of the catering service tent attached to our sail cloth tent. Q10. Can we supply our own alcohol, beer & wine? ANSWER Yes! This will provide you with a significant savings for your event. To do so, you must obtain host liquor liability insurance for $1,000,000 of coverage, which can be done online at theeventhelper.com if it is not offered through your caterer. It can also be obtained as a rider on your home owners insurance policy. For the safety of your guests, you need to hire a bartending service for your event or engage your caterer to provide bartending service and set up and clean up your bar service areas. Q11. Where can we store our kegs, wine and wedding cake? ANSWER French s Point has a 7 1/2' x 5 1/2' walk in cooler available for your use to store your catering goods, bar provisions, wedding cake, and flowers. Q12. Can we decorate French s Point Estate for our event? ANSWER You are welcome to decorate for your celebration. However, French s Point must approve all decorations prior to installation. Decorations must be free standing. The use of nails, pushpins, screws, staples, tacks or tapes are prohibited on any surface within the facility. Rice, birdseed, paper confetti and dance wax are prohibited. French s Point offers a wonderful range of suggested providers for decorating and event design services. Tent lighting must be provided by Wallace Events. Damages resulting from the use of prohibited decorations are your responsibility and will be deducted from the $2,500 Refundable Damage Deposit. Q13. Can we use sparklers, fireworks, or floating lanterns? ANSWER Fireworks can be provided exclusively by Central Maine Pyrotechnics. It is against State Law to set off fireworks on property that you do not own. To ensure the safety of your guests, the neighboring homes and wooded State Preserve bordering French's Point, as well as insurance restrictions, sparklers and floating lanterns are prohibited at both French s Point Estate and Beach Rose Farm. page 4
Q14. Can I have my dog in my wedding? ANSWER Yes you can! French s Point is pet friendly, but if you decide to have your pooch be a part of your big day, you must: Keep the dog on a leash at all times Have a person designated as a handler for the dog at all times The dog must be up to date on all vaccinations The dog must be friendly and not pose a danger to your guests and our staff All pet waste must be removed Additionally, if you choose to have dog stay at Beach Rose Farm, you must: Pay a non-refundable $250 Pet Cleaning Fee per dog Must not stake or tie the dog and leave it unattended Agree to remove the dog from the property should it become a nuisance Q15. How much does it cost to host my celebration at French s Point Estate? ANSWER Please refer to the French s Point Price Guide for the Venue Fee. Q16. What are the possible costs at French s Point for my event? ANSWER Venue: French s Point Estate Venue Fee defined in the French s Point Price Guide for the use of and services included as listed in Q2 of the French s Point Estate section of this document on page 2. This rate is not subject to tax or gratuity. Lodging: Beach Rose Farm Accommodations Room Rates defined in the French s Point Price Guide for use of the on site accommodations and amenities outlined in Q1 of the Beach Rose Farm section of this document on page 6. Room rates are subject 8% Maine State lodging tax. Utility Fee: One time $500 Utility Fee required for French s Point Estate. Refundable Damage Deposit: A refundable $2,500 Damage Deposit is required for your event to cover losses, damages, and excessive cleaning at French s Point Estate and Beach Rose Farm. This will be refunded within a week, less any necessary charges. Traffic Direction Extension: If your events exceed the hours allowed for your chosen celebration duration, traffic direction service extension is required. This service will be billed at $100 for each additional hour. Any time more than 40 guests gather at French s Point, traffic control service is required. Traffic Control Service must be provided by French s Point and not another outside provider. Kitchen Fee: The optional use of the full commercial kitchen inside the estate is available for use by your caterer for the rate of $250 per day. Q17. What is your cancellation policy? page 5 ANSWER After the signing of the Estate Contract and Beach Rose Farm Reservation Contract, all payments are required in full. All payments except for the refundable Damage Deposit are non-refundable.
BEACH ROSE FARM LODGING FAQS Q1. Do you have accommodations on site at French s Point? ANSWER In addition to the luxury Wedding Suite at the Estate, French s Point has a total of 13 on site suites located next door at the newly renovated Beach Rose Farm. Q2. Can we have our overnight guests pay for their own lodging? ANSWER Yes, guests staying in the rooms at Beach Rose Farm can pay directly for their rooms. Additionally, you have the option of paying for these rooms for your guests if you prefer. Please refer to the Price Guide for details. Q3. How many nights of lodging are required for a weekend event? ANSWER You must guarantee that all 13 suites at Beach Rose Farm are reserved for Friday and Saturday nights at a minimum as part of a weekend event at French s Point Estate. For each additional night beyond the two night guarantee, a minimum of seven suites must be reserved. Q4. What are the room rates at Beach Rose Farm? ANSWER Please refer to the French s Point Price Guide. Q5. What are the hours of operation for Beach Rose Farm? ANSWER As per town rules, amplified music must cease at 10:00PM and guests not staying in the rooms at Beach Rose Farm must depart by midnight. Q6. What time is check in and check out? ANSWER Check in is noon the first day of your stay and check out is noon the last day. Q7. Are there additional accommodations nearby for our guests? ANSWER There is an abundance of nightly accommodations available for your guests nearby. There is also a network of cottage and house rentals, many within walking distance of French's Point.
