Clover Connections Newsletter for Miller, Maries and Pulaski Counties November 2014 Volume 1, Issue 2 Dear Parents and Volunteers, The new online enrollment system is up and running. If you are joining 4H this year, please go online and get signed up, the information is listed below. Once you sign up, the club leader will be able to see who has joined their club and what projects they are interested in. Most clubs are wanting to pay dues in December to take advantage of the $8 per person. If you wait, then the cost increases to $20 after January 1. Much of the feedback has been positive about the system. Please take time to enroll soon. This will also help us get the information, like the newsletter out to families also. CITIZENSHIP WASHINGTON FOCUS 2015 June 20-June 29, 2015 chartered bus trip to Washington, D.C. and New York City Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is a 4-H leadership program for high school youth ages 14-18. 4-H members will stay at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center, near Washington, D.C., and participate in a week-long program enriching their lives with activities that broaden their appreciation and respect for themselves and others. 4-H Members will tour national landmarks and meet their elected officials. Side trips to Fort McHenry and New York City will follow the conference. Total Trip Cost: $2000 Costs include all travel expenses on chartered bus, tours and ticket costs, lodging at the National 4-H Center and hotels, meals, registration for the CWF conference, Dinner Theatre, CWF and Missouri 4-H polos. The only expense not included is cost of souvenirs. Cost includes funds for meals while traveling. 4-H families, alumni, and friends are invited to cheer on the St. Louis Rams at the 2014 4-H Day with the Rams on Sunday, December 21, at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. The Rams will play the New York Giants in a 3:05 p.m. game. There are two ticket packages to choose from. Endzone Terrace tickets are $50 each, or Endzone Field Level seats are $94 each that is a $15 discount for either seating area. Ticket orders of 10 or more will receive an additional $5 off of each ticket. With each ticket ordered, participants will receive a 4-H Day with the Rams t-shirt, and a chance to win a field pass.
