ITINERARY: Day 1: Tuesday, April 10, 2018 - Depart the USA for London Heathrow Airport Day 2: Wednesday, April 11, 2018 - Welcome to the United Kingdom! Arrive at your London Airport and meet your guide and driver and transfer to your hotel. On arrival enjoy a panoramic city tour of London. Visit Westminster Abbey. Overnight at the Copthorne Kensington Tara (or similar) in London, England. Welcome dinner at the hotel. English breakfast is included. Day 3: Thursday, April 12, 2018 London to Coventry This morning depart London and journey to Oxford. Meet a local guide and enjoy a walking tour of Bampton where scenes from Downton Abbey were filmed. Then visit Cogges Manor Farm where scenes from Downton Abbey were filmed amid the Cotswold stone farm buildings. Finally visit Christchurch College at Oxford University. Overnight at The Oxford Belfry Hotel (or similar) complete with full English breakfast at hotel in Oxford, England. Day 4: Friday, April 13, 2018 Highclere Castle and Stonehenge This morning visit Stonehenge. Then visit and tour Highclere Castle (where Downton Abbey was filmed) complete with afternoon tea at the Coach House.! Day 5: Saturday, April 14, 2018 Oxford to York This morning depart Oxford and journey to York On arrival enjoy a walking tour in York and visit York Minster. Overnight at Park Inn by Radisson Blu in York with English breakfast. Day 6: Sunday, April 15, 2018 York to Edinburgh, Scotland This morning depart Newcastle-upon-Tyne and journey to Edinburgh. On arrival in Edinburgh enjoy a panoramic city tour and visit Edinburgh Castle. This evening enjoy dinner and entertainment at Prestonfield House (or similar). Overnight at Apex Hotel (or similar) in Edinburgh complete with Scottish breakfast. Day 7: Monday, April 16, 2018 Edinburgh to Perthshire This morning depart Edinburgh and journey to the Cairngorms. Day 8: Tuesday, April 17, 2018 Perthshire to Glasgow, Scotland This morning depart the Perthshire/Cairngorms and journey to Glasgow, Scotland. En-route visit the Blair Atholl Distillery. Enjoy a cruise on Loch Lomond, Scotland. On arrival in Glasgow, Scotland enjoy a panoramic city tour. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at Jury s Inn in Glasgow complete with Scottish breakfast. Day 9: Wednesday, April 18, 2018 Glasgow to Liverpool This morning depart Glasgow and journey to Liverpool, England. En-route stop in Gretna Green, Scotland. Continue through the Lake District with a stop at Grasmere, England. Continue to Liverpool, England. Overnight at The Mecure Atlantic Tower (or similar) in Liverpool with English breakfast. Day 10: Thursday, April 19, 2018 Liverpool to Coventry This morning visit The Beatles Museum. Day 11: Friday, April 20, 2018 Coventry to London This morning depart Coventry and journey to London. En-route visit Windsor Castle and on arrival visit Westminster Abbey. PRICING Price per person in double room for the 10-night tour: $2997.00 Single Supplement: $750.00 **Please note that airfare is not included in this package. We will be happy to help arrange it for you. Additionally, if you wish to extend your trip, we can help make those arrangements. Initial Deposit: $300.00 per person (cash, check or *credit card) to reserve your space. Central Holidays, our tour operator, charges an additional 3% handling charge for the use of a credit card. Cancellation insurance (based on double occupancy) is $191.00 per person. It covers preexisting medical conditions (if purchased at time of initial deposit), sickness, injury, inclement weather, employer terminations and job transfers. There is also a $500 trip delay ($100/day), $1500 lost or damaged luggage, $500 baggage delay, $50,000 medical expense and $50,000 emergency medical transportation. Second Deposit: $675.00 will be due by December 11, 2017. Final Payment: Due by February 9, 2018 Cancellation Penalties: There is a $100.00 per person penalty for cancellation after initial deposit has been made. Any cancellations after February 9, 2018 to February 23, 2018 will be subject to a 25% of land cost penalty. Cancellations from February 24, 2018 to March 25, 2018 are subject to a 75% of land cost penalty. Cancellations from March 26, 2018 to the day of departure are subject to a 100% of land cost penalty. All prices were based on a rate of exchange between the British Pound and US Dollar at 1 GBP = $1.263 USD. Rates may be adjusted prior to final invoice. Since the group will be traveling on a private bus, the price is based on a minimum of 20 travelers with a maximum of 45. The minimum size of the group must be established by December 11, 2017.! 6
