Ohio Department of Transportation Office of Materials Management Certified Asphalt Liquid Suppliers per ODOT Supplement 1032 Below is a listing of certified asphalt material producers and products as of September 23, 2016. These asphalt material producers have complied with all requirements of Supplement 1032 and are allowed to ship to Ohio DOT administered projects. To become a certified producer contact the Office of Materials Management Asphalt Materials section at 614-275-1380. Note to non-odot agencies and producers desiring certification for non-odot purposes: ODOT occasionally receives requests because local agencies require ODOT certified products. ODOT will try to honor these requests as time allows because suppliers can also supply to ODOT when desired. However, ODOT is NOT obligated to rush its certification process as outlined below as we are short on staff and time especially during the construction season. Please plan on several months minimum to obtain certification during the season. Read Supplement 1032 for full details on the certification process. To become certified, ODOT will pull a series of five samples at its discretion from tanks or other sources for testing and approval. These five samples will not be from the same tank, source or batch. Therefore, generally the process takes from several weeks to several months. All five samples must pass to become certified.
