Summary The City of Santa Monica policy on our Municipal Airport is contrary to the concerns and priorities of it s own citizens and against regional and national community transportation policy. City of Santa Monica Resident Concerns 2009-2013 Santa Monica residents consistently rate homeless persons, traffic, congestion and over-development as at least 80% of their concerns. Airport rates an average of 4% of resident concerns. Yet, City council makes closing SMO a top 5 city priority Why?
