SWEETHEART AUCTION 2017 SAFARI TO ZAMBIA DAY 1 * LOWER ZAMBEZI NATIONAL PARK, ZAMBIA Today you will arrive into Lusaka, Zambia, where you will be met by a representative from Tours Africa who will assist you with entrance formalities into the country and then with your connection to scheduled air service to Jeki airstrip; located inside the Lower Zambezi National Park (flying time is about 35 minutes). At Jeki you will be met by a safari vehicle and transferred on a short drive to the river (about 15 minutes) where there will be a boat waiting to take you upstream, directly to Sausage Tree Camp. The Zambezi River provides a gorgeous journey, with many elephant and hippo along the shores and in the river. (Approximately a 45 minute scenic boat ride). Accommodation at Sausage Tree is for a maximum of 18 guests in large, cool, oval shaped marquee style tents, situated along the river's edge with open fronts for unobstructed views of the spectacular Zambezi River, each with private open-air en-suite facilities.

Page 2 Sausage Tree is situated on a gorgeous stretch of the Lower Zambezi River, characterized by a sweeping mountain range and wide exposed sand bars in the shallow reaches of the river where great numbers of game are usually in view. The Lower Zambezi National Park is home to large herds of elephant and buffalo. Lion are common and plains game is abundant.

Page 3 This is a wild and untamed area, where lion, buffalo, hyena, hippo, and elephant all wander through camp, almost on a daily basis. Definitely not a place for the faint hearted! Activities from Sausage Tree include game drives in open vehicles (both day and night), nature walks, canoeing, boating and fantastic fishing (all with an experienced professional guide). Here you will surely witness some of the most beautiful sunsets to be seen anywhere!

Page 4 You will spend three nights at Sausage Tree in a Signature Tent on a fully inclusive basis. http://sausagetreecamp.com/ DAY 4 * MFUWE LODGE, SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred by Sausage Tree back to Jeki airstrip for scheduled air service to Mfuwe Airport, gateway to the South Luangwa National Park. (This flight is routed via Lusaka. Total flying time is about 2 hours, not including your stop in Lusaka.)

Page 5 On arrival in Mfuwe Airport you will be met by a representative from The Bushcamp Company and transferred to Mfuwe Lodge, situated on one of the most beautiful lagoons of the Luangwa River inside the South Luangwa National Park. The drive to the lodge takes about 45 minutes. Mfuwe Lodge has recently been totally refurbished. It consists of 18 luxury rooms all with wonderful views over two different lagoons where game is always present. The main dining and lounge areas are open, and there is also a large infinity swimming pool for cooling off in the heat of the day. Lounge/Dining area

Page 6 Guest accommodation A lovely spa is situated overlooking one of the lagoons, and offers a full range of rejuvenating treatments after exhilarating days in the bush. Enjoy a treatment while listening to the chorus of hippos in the lagoon by the spa! Mfuwe Lodge offers traditional game viewing activities associated with South Luangwa. You will spend one night at Mfuwe Lodge on a fully inclusive basis, although all bar is additional and for your own account. http://bushcampcompany.com/mfuwe_lodge.php

Page 7 DAY 5 * BUSHCAMPS, SOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK This morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred south through the park on a game drive to one of the Bushcamps. South Luangwa National Park is a magnificent reserve that ranks among the finest in Africa and hosts a wide variety of mammals and over 400 species of birds within its 3500 square miles. Its boundary is the meandering Luangwa River whose network of scenic lagoons and superb riverine trees create a landscape of exceptional beauty that has made the Park famous. The unspoiled nature of Luangwa and its spectacular wildlife are idyllic for visitors - those seeking nature at its best. The Luangwa Valley has been called the Last Kingdom of the Elephants and indeed, one of the most memorable sights here is that of elephants gathered at dusk or dawn, tentatively testing the air before venturing across the river, sometimes in groups of over 100 strong.

Page 8 The Bushcamps are a group of 6 small intimate camps, located along an especially scenic 25 mile stretch of the Luangwa River system in the remote southern sector of the park. Each camp has its own unique charm, and can accommodate a maximum of 6-8 guests. Kuyenda Bushcamp Chamilandu Bushcamp Bilimungwe Bushcamp

Page 9 Chindeni Bushcamp Kapamba Bushcamp Zungulila Bushcamp

Page 10 The camps are designed primarily for walking safaris, but game viewing activities at the Bushcamps are totally flexible, with both walks and drives in open vehicles available. Here too, you can experience night drives where guests often encounter exciting wildlife. You will spend six nights at the Bushcamps on a fully inclusive basis. (Selection of the Bushcamps camps is dependent on availability at Kuyenda, Chamilandu, Chindeni, Zungulila, Bilimungwe, and Kapamba). http://bushcampcompany.com/bushcamps/

Page 11 DAY 11 * TONGABEZI, ZAMBIAN SIDE OF VICTORIA FALLS This morning you will be transferred to Mfuwe Airport for scheduled air service to Livingstone Airport. (Flying time is about 2 hours via Lusaka.) Upon arrival in Livingstone you will be met and transferred by vehicle to Tongabezi Lodge. Victoria Falls is recognized as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Falls are actually a series of seven waterfalls that occur where the powerful Zambezi River plunges down a series of basalt gorges in a breathtaking display. Mist from the waterfalls can be seen more than 10 miles away and the thundering roar can be heard long before the falls can be seen. The spray from the water is partly responsible for sustaining the "rainforest" opposite the falls. When the river is in flood, the falls are the largest curtain of falling water in the world, with between 5 million and 132 million gallons of water a minute crashing into the Batoka Gorge below.

Page 12 Tongabezi is idyllically situated on the banks of the Zambezi River 10 miles upstream from Victoria Falls. The accommodation and ambiance are excellent: spacious custom-made cottages with private en-suite facilities, and marvelous views up and downstream. Cottage at Tongabezi You will have the opportunity to enjoy the many activities offered: early morning and afternoon boat excursions to game view and bird watch from the Zambezi River; visits to the local villages and schools, or the Livingstone Museum. Of course, you will have a visit to the Falls and an opportunity to explore all along the Zambian side of this incomparable natural wonder. You may want to consider an optional lunch on Livingstone Island with a handful of other guests on the edge of the Falls (not included, and at additional cost). You will be at Tongabezi for two nights on a fully inclusive basis in a Luxury Cottage. http://www.tongabezi.com/

Page 13 Tongabezi view onto the Zambezi DAY 14 * EN ROUTE BACK TO THE U.S. Today Tongabezi will transfer you back to Livingstone Airport for your departing flight back to Johannesburg and connecting to the United States. You may wish to extend your safari staying longer in Cape Town or perhaps include Botswana or Namibia. Rovos Rail and the Blue Train offer unparalleled train journeys from Pretoria to Cape Town. We would love to suggest ideas if you are able to stay longer and want to add more adventures. WELCOME HOME!!!
