Tie Rods Update The last few months have been a busy time for many Tiger Moth operators with just about all of the aircraft with non-compliant Tie- Rods having new English parts fitted. Your President Jim Lawson has been instrumental in coordinating this project and a huge thanks to Jim for his tireless efforts. Whilst that has curtailed much winter flying it is great that everyone is set up and safe for the summer. First solo This happy gentleman is Alex Ingrosso who soloed ZK-BRL Lilly on 31 st May, 2014 at Rangitata Island. Andrew Love recorded the event and you can check it out on youtube via the link below. We all look forward to seeing Alex competing at a club event soon, although we appreciate he is busy with university studies at the moment. Well done Alex and great to have another Tiger pilot on board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahh5zghvauc
