Experience China Tour Day 1 - Arrive in Shanghai Upon landing in Shanghai, you will be greeted by your private driver and transferred to your hotel, the Renaissance Yu Garden. The rest of the day is free for you to relax. Day 2 - Shanghai City Tour After breakfast, you will be taken on a morning visit to Yu Yuan Gardens, and then to visit the Old Town Market and Nanjing road. The Old Town of Shanghai embodies the richness of Ming and Qing architecture and the vibrancy of traditional Shanghai street life. Some call this Shanghai's own "Chinatown" because of the traditional atmosphere, though the bright visages of Colonel Sanders and neon lights lining the narrow alleys add a modern touch. We will have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will take a walk on the Bund to see the breath-taking skyline, and visit Shanghai's World Financial Center.
Day 3 - Suzhou Gardens After breakfast, you will take a morning drive to Suzhou by private coach. The beautiful waterside City of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province in Southern China is most famous for its elegant classical gardens. We will visit the Humble Administrators Garden (a World Cultural Heritage site) and Master of Nets Garden - the smallest of the Suzhou residential gardens, yet it is arguably the most impressive because of its use of space which creates the illusion of an area that is much greater than its actual size. Lunch will be at a local restaurant followed by a Canal Cruise and and a visit to the Suzhou No.1 silk mill. Return to Shanghai in the evening. Day 4 - Hangzhou Today, we will drive to Hangzhou (the capital of Zhejiang province) by private coach. With enchanting natural beauty and an abundant cultural heritage, the city is known as 'Heaven on Earth'. We will also visit Lin Ying temple - a premier showpiece in the West Lake environs and one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples in China - and Fei Lai park. Visit to the West Lake cruise. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit Liuhe pagoda and Meijiawu tea village, then drive to Huangshan. Overnight at the Crown Plaza Huangshan Hotel. Day 5 - Huangshan Mountain After breakfast visit Huangshan Mountain. In 1990, it was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site and World Natural Heritage Site. We will take Yungu cablecar up the mountain and have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will visit Beginning-to-Believe Peak, Black Tiger Pine, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, Flying-over Rock and Bright Summit. After a busy day, you will be taken to your new hotel, the Xi Hai Hotel. Day 6 - Huangshan and More Be sure to catch the sunrise this morning, after which we will take you to visit Lion Peak, Stone Monkey Gazing at the sea, Dawn Pavilion, Refreshing Terrace and other sights. Next we will take the cable car down and have lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Yixian and Hongcun Village after lunch, which enjoys the reputation of 'a beautiful Chinese picture because of its location at high altitude, and being shrouded by clouds and mist".it has about 137 Ming and Qing style residences. Next we will drive to Tunxi and visit Tunxi old street, Hukaiwen Ink-stick Factory. Along the street there are many shops that have existed for hundreds of years for you to browse through. Curios and knick-knacks including inkstones, brushes, local teas, and Mao badges can be found throughout the shops. It is a paradise for tourists to buy souvenirs rich in Chinese culture with comparatively low prices and is a must-see when you are traveling in Huangshan City. At the Ink-stick factory, you can find the biggest inkstone in the world weighing over 27,500 pounds. After dinner, we will take the flight back to Shanghai. Pick up and transfer to the hotel is included.
Day 7 - Farewell to Shanghai Your morning is free for you to enjoy your last hours in China at your own pace. Your private car will transfer you to the airport in the afternoon to catch your flight home.
