After clearing immigration and customs your driver/guide will be waiting in the arrivals hall to escort you to your coach. Drive to the nearby Glasnevin Museum, Ireland s national necropolis, which is a who s who of modern Irish history and the final resting place of Daniel O Connell, Michael Collins, Charles Stewart Parnell, Brendan Behan and other prominent people. At the end of your visit, enjoy a full Irish breakfast at the onsite café. DINNER & OVERNIGHT: TRINITY CAPITAL HOTEL, DUBLIN MON, AUG 3 DUBLIN HIGHLIGHTS Set off with a local guide who will show you around the prominent historic buildings and monuments of Dublin. Dublin is an ancient settlement, founded by the Vikings in the 9 th century. The city has been molded through the centuries with many architectural styles, reflecting the economic, political and artistic influences. Stop to tour Dublin Castle to see the State Apartments where many state functions are held in the richly decorated chambers. Then tour St. Patrick's Cathedral, which is almost as old as the city itself and famous for its connections with the brilliantly eccentric Dean Jonathan Swift. The remainder of the afternoon is free for independent activities. This evening drive to the town of Rathfarnham to Taylors Three Rock for dinner followed by a lively show of traditional Irish songs, dancing and music. OVERNIGHT: TRINITY CAPITAL HOTEL, DUBLIN TUES, AUG 4 STROKESTOWN HOUSE & BALLYFARNON Travel northwest from Dublin through the countryside to Strokestown to visit the Strokestown Park House which dates from the 17th century. This fine mansion shows the lifestyle of the affluent owners and also the conditions of the servants and farmers of the area, particularly during the Famine era of the 1840s when many Irish emigrated to the United States. The Museum of the Famine shows a large collection of documents relating to conditions during that dreadful time. Next drive by picturesque Kilglass Lakes and Father Kevin s native countryside to Rooskey on the banks of the River Shannon. Here we will stop for refreshments and be entertained by Irish musicians and step dancers. From here we have a short trip to Ballyfarnon to check into your hotel. You may wish to take some time to freshen up before dinner. DINNER & OVERNIGHT: KILRONAN CASTLE ESTATE, BALLYFARNON WED, AUG 5 BELLEEK CHINA FACTORY & DONEGAL SIGHTSEEING Today journey north to Belleek where you ll visit the Belleek Pottery Factory. See how skilled craftspeople form and decorate clay to produce delicate porcelain masterpieces. Then follow the Atlantic shoreline of Donegal Bay to Donegal town. Upon arrival enjoy some free time to explore Donegal independently before returning to Ballyfarnon. DINNER & OVERNIGHT: KILRONAN CASTLE ESTATE, BALLYFARNON THU, AUG 6 MASS AT KNOCK SHRINE & GALWAY Depart Ballyfarnon and drive southwest to reach the pilgrimage town of Knock to visit Knock Shrine, one of the world s leading shrines where the Virgin Mary appeared to 15 people on August 21, 1879. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Kevin at the shrine before traveling south via Headford to Galway, a bustling city with unique Irish flavor. Upon arrival check into your hotel and enjoy some time to relax and settle in before joining your group for dinner. DINNER & OVERNIGHT: MEYRICK HOTEL, GALWAY FRI, AUG 7 CONNEMARA & CONNEMARA LADY CRUISE Today tour Connemara and admire the sweeping views of boglands and misty mountains. As you drive along

you will see many sheep that graze freely and also tracts of bogland where some people hand-cut peat for home heating. At Leenane, stop to take a short catamaran cruise aboard the Connemara Lady through Killary Harbour, Ireland s only fjord. You can see great views from this narrow inlet, which is surrounded by hills and cliffs. Also observe the seabirds, seals and otters that live in the waters. Then return to Galway to embark on a panoramic tour to see the principal sights of the city. A drive around will take you to the large modern cathedral set on an island on the River Corrib. See the Spanish Arch in the Claddagh area, formerly a fishing village, the City Museum, National University of Galway and the Cathedral of Our Lady, which is built on the site of the former county jail. After your panoramic tour, enjoy the evening at leisure for individual pursuits and dining. OVERNIGHT: MEYRICK HOTEL, GALWAY SAT, AUG 8 CLIFFS OF MOHER - KILLARNEY Drive around Galway Bay and through the Burren Country, a unique region of limestone hills renowned for its flora and prehistoric stone monuments. Stop to view the majestic Cliffs of Moher, a rocky wall that rises nearly 700 feet above the foaming Atlantic Ocean. Take a short ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary to Tarbert. Drive east to Foynes to visit the Foynes Flying Boat Museum. During the 1930s and early 1940s, the port of Foynes was the fulcrum point for air traffic between the United States and Europe. Irish Coffee was first created here to warm frozen, weary travelers and you will learn how to make a perfect one and then drink it. From Foynes, journey south into the mountainous country of Kerry and into Killarney. Upon arrival check into your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay. DINNER & OVERNIGHT: MALTON HOTEL, KILLARNEY SUN, AUG 9 MUCKROSS HOUSE - RING OF KERRY TOUR Just outside Killarney visit the delightful Muckross House, a 19th century furnished mansion with an interesting history and U.S. connections. Then explore the Ring of Kerry 100 miles of marvelous scenery consisting of the highest peaks in Ireland on one side and a coastline scattered with golden beaches and rocky headlands on the other. Stop en route to meet local farmer who will introduce you to a flock of his sheep and provide a sheepdog demonstration. Also enjoy some tea and home-made scones before traveling through Glenbeigh, Cahirciveen, Waterville and the colorful village of Sneem. Stop at Lady s View for a view of the three lakes of Killarney with the mountains and the town in the background. Return to Killarney for some free time before dinner. This evening enjoy dinner and entertainment at Kate Kearney s Cottage, which is picturesquely situated at the entrance to what must be the most beautiful glaciated valley in Ireland, the Gap of Dunloe. The Irish night consists of a superb meal and traditional entertainment, which includes songs and musicians playing a wide array of instruments along with costumed dancers doing the jig and other traditional sets. OVERNIGHT: MALTON HOTEL, KILLARNEY MON, AUG 10 BLARNEY CASTLE - BUNRATTY Leaving Killarney drive into the rich farming country of Cork. At Blarney, stop to climb to the battlements of Blarney Castle to kiss the famous "Stone of Eloquence." Also visit the Blarney Woollen Mills, which has an excellent range of Irish products of all types. You will also have time to browse around the village, charmingly set around a large village green. Then drive through the pleasant hilly country of County Cork. This is prime dairying country, known as the Golden Vale, where much of Ireland's cheese is produced. Pass through the town of Mallow and stop in the village of Adare for some free time. Then continue your journey north passing the outskirts of Limerick and crossing the wide River Shannon to Bunratty. Upon arrival check into your hotel for your overnight stay. After some time to relax or freshen up enjoy tonight s festivities. This evening join in the fun and feasting at Bunratty Castle. Your medieval-style banquet is served in the Great Hall of the 15th century castle during which the lords and ladies of the castle transport you in spirit to the Middle Ages with their songs and stories. OVERNIGHT: BUNRATTY CASTLE HOTEL, BUNRATTY TUES, AUG 11 SHANNON - NEWARK This morning you transfer to nearby Shannon Airport for check in. You will also clear U.S. Immigration and Customs before boarding United flight 23 departing at 9:05 am. Soon you're climbing into the Western sky and the green fields fall away beneath you. Lunch and a snack will be served en route. Sit back and enjoy your flight. Soon you are back over the Maritimes heading for an estimated 11:30 am arrival into Newark. Thanks for coming Agus Slaine Abaile
