It is located close at hand from the beautiful Poniente beach (350 metres). HOW TO GET TO BY PLANE Altet Airport is located near the city of Alicante only 60 km. from Benidorm. There is a regular bus service which offers the possibility to travel quickly, comfortably and economically from Alicante airport to Benidorm and vice versa. You can also book shuttle transfer services with companies like Beniconnect Transfers, amongst others. BY BUS Situated in a convenient location at the entrance of Benidorm, the new bus station has easy access from the motorway AP-7 (Benidorm-Playa de Levante exit), from the N- 332 or from the centre if the town. Good public transport such as local buses or taxis means you can reach the bus station in a few minutes. The urban bus routes, 3, 4 y 11 connect to the bus station. CONFERENCE REGISTRATION The registration desk will be open on Monday, May 28th from 4,30 PM to 5,30 PM and on Tuesday, May 29th from 8,00AM to 8,45 AM at the Hotel main entrance (next to the reception desk). WELCOME DRINK Welcome drink will take place on Monday, May 28th starting at 5,30 PM at the Cafeteria L Illa open-air terrace next to the swimming pool area. All conference attendees are invited to this reception as a chance to meet and renew relationships with colleagues. Drinks will be provided free of charge. INFORMATION POINT The information point will be located on Room Bitácora, on basement floor during conference hours. COFFEE BREAKS Coffee will be served during the morning and afternoon breaks. Please, check the HOPV18 Conference Program for exact time. Coffee will be served at the Terraza de Cristal at the 2 nd floor. EXHIBITION AREA Sponsor s area will be at the Terraza de Cristal at the 2 nd floor and will be available during the full conference. 2

LUNCH Lunch service is not included. Punctually in afternoon sessions is a must. We recommend half board accommodation at Hotel Gran Bali. Special offer until April 30 th. INTERNET ACCESS / WIFI HOPV Conference provides you a wireless access to the Internet. Password and access at registration desk. All conference attendees may use internet by bringing their own laptops into all conference rooms. CLOSING Closing will take place at the Auditorio de Cristal. Poster Awards Ceremony will take place at this time. LUGGAGE Please avoid entering the conference room with any luggage. Conference secretariat will not be responsible of any luggage left at information point. The Hotel is open to guests not attending the conference. Do not leave luggage unattended. PROGRAMME A programme hard copy will be hand over to all the attendees; even so, last minute changes will be announced onsite before the Conference Plenary Lectures. An updated PDF version of the program will be also available at the conference website. ORAL CONTRIBUTIONS Standard Audio Visual Package: LCD projector, screen, laser pointer and wireless microphone. Presentation Times: Contributed presentations are scheduled for 15 minutes (12 minutes talk + 3 minutes questions); Invited Speakers are scheduled for 30 minutes (25 minutes talk + 5 minutes question). The organization wants to encourage the conferences debates and questions; therefore, it is necessary to strictly respect the time for discussions. Speaker Preparation: The presenters will be able to check the presentation on-site no later than the "break" immediately preceding the scheduled presentation. Break, in this sense, is the period of time before the first morning talk and during the lunch or coffee break. Please come with sufficient time in advance. Authors must provide to the assistant a USB memory with the presentation or bring their own laptop. Audio Visual Assistance: There will be an assistant in the room to assist you if any problem arises. 3

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS A new tool for fast scientific communication and diffusion is available for any participant with an abstract contribution. nanoge has prepared this tool as a service to the scientific community to ensure that conference communications obtain rapid impact and visibility. Now you can find online open access, the scientific contents of nanoge conferences. All abstracts are published online as separate papers. Check it at: http://www.nanoge.org/nanoge-conference-proceedings POSTER CONTRIBUTIONS The viewable size of the poster board is width 80 cm and height 100 cm. Poster sessions will take place on Tuesday, May 29 th from 5:30PM to 7:00PM at Cafeteria L Illa terrace. Attendees can preview the posters during the morning before the poster session. Each participant will have a place on the poster board with their reference on it. Authors need to be present at their posters for discussion with attendees during the full poster session. Please contact the organization staff if you need help when hanging your poster. Please avoid poster activities while conferences are active in the main room. Poster room will be available for setting up activity from Tuesday, May 29 th at 10.00AM. 4

GENERAL ROOM The General Talks G1, G2 and G3 will take place at the Auditorio de Cristal, at the ground floor. PARALELL ROOMS Parallel Sessions in the afternoon will take place at the following rooms: A Sessions will take place at the Ancora at the basement. B Sessions will take place at Room Jarcia at the basement. C Sessions will take place at Room Cornamusa at the basement. D Sessions will take place at Room Sala de Prensa at the 1 st floor. BADGES Please take a moment to review your own identifier on the conference website. Some of them include extra information and are not suitable for printing. Enter the website using your personal account and select HOPV18 Conference from "My Events" tab. Press on blue button tagged as "identifier" and then modify, change, increase or decrease content at your convenience. It is very easy and it will help to identify yourself accurately. We suggest to include: Identifiers will not be reprinted onsite. INVOICE Invoices can be downloaded from the HOPV18 website. Please go to your account and then to "User Menu". You will find a section entitled My Documents from where you can download these documents. CERTIFICATE The Certificate will be sent directly to your email once the conference has finished and the organization has checked that you have attended the meeting. 5

SOCIAL DINNER Social dinner will take place on 2018 May 30th at the Auditorio de Cristal at 7:30PM. A welcome cocktail will be served from 7:00 PM at the open-air terrace on the swimming pool area. Disco party will follow social dinner with open bar service to celebrate 10 th anniversary. It will be mandatory to book tickets before May 15th. On site tickets purchase option based on availability. Vegan options offered. Tickets: To buy tickets you need to be logged in our web (www.nanoge.org). Then access your personal area (on the top right corner of the screen) and visit the section 'My events', choose 'HOPV18' and then on the top left you'll see the section 'My tickets' where you'll be able to purchase tickets for the social dinner. ACCOMODATION Benidorm has a wide accommodation offer. Please book your stay at your own convenience. We suggest to stay at the Hotel Bali (conference venue).
