NCCC Governor - Howard S. The Antelope Valley Corvette Club originated in 1969 and will celebrate its 46th birthday in 2015. Our club has meetings on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. We meet at The Sizzler, 853 W Palmdale Blvd, Palmdale. If you would like to eat dinner first, please come at 6:00. Any potential new members are welcome to attend a meeting. All new members must own a Corvette.

Contribute to local charities 8. Attend club socials every month 9. Hold club picnics (movie runs, etc.) There are many different types of Corvettes in the club, from old to new, original to custom. There are also several anniversary editions and a couple of pace cars. The Vette Voice is the official publication of the Antelope Valley Corvette Club. It is published monthly after the business meeting, and is distributed to all club members in good standing, to potential members interested in joining the club and to other clubs in the area. Articles that pertain to Corvettes, A.V.C.C members, or the Antelope Valley are always welcomed. The Antelope Valley Corvette Club is a non-profit organization formed by those who are proud of America s greatest and longest lived sports car, the CORVETTE! We are the true meaning of pride of ownership. Annual membership dues are $36 per year, per member ($60 per couple). Also required to join the Antelope Valley Corvette Club, members must join our national organization of National Council of Corvette Clubs (NCCC).

MEETING MINUTES 7/6 ANTELOPE VALLEY CORVETTE CLUB MEETING MINUTES August 3, 2016 CALL TO ORDER: In Larry s absence Shirley called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Sizzler Steakhouse in Palmdale. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: July minutes were e-mailed to the members. Motion to approve was passed. TREASURER S REPORT: Nelly presented the report for both July: Deposits - $27.60 Outflows - $111.52 Balance as of 7/31/16 - $2458.47 Motion to approve the report was passed. OLD BUSINESS: Three cars went on the Barstow run. They had a nice time with the exception of the smoke from the fire. NEW BUSINESS: Kemo brought up having meeting at Bakery Express in Lancaster. They have a room but the menu would be pricey. It was decided to have the next dinner social there but stay at Sizzler. NCCC: Nothing to report. ACTIVITIES: August Decision not to have a social this month. 8/17/16 6:00 p.m. Bakery Express Lancaster (43755 15th St W, Lancaster, CA 93534) 9/3/16 - Pine Mountain Club Blues, Brews, and Barbeque. $35.00 p/p or $45.00 at the door. Includes food, beverage, and entertainment. Possible swim/barbeque at Dana s or Shirley s. SUNSHINE: Birthdays and anniversaries for August will be available in the newsletter. MISCELLANEOUS: Kemo s football team at Palmdale is having a fundraiser 8/16/16 at Sweet Frog Premium Yogurt in Palmdale on 47 th East from 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. 50/50 raffle. Gary won $25.00. The meeting adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
