The 8 th Annual Camp Boggy Creek Challenge Ride will take place on Saturday, September 8, 2018. The scenic ride starts and ends at Camp Boggy Creek and cyclists can participate in a 60, 40 or 20 mile route through Lake County or a 15 mile offroad family fun route in the Seminole State Forest. The day includes breakfast, stocked rest stops and SAG vehicles. At the end of the ride, cyclists can take hot showers, then enjoy a buffet lunch in our air conditioned dining hall, compliments of Golden Corral. Family and friends are invited to cheer on our riders and enjoy the day. Co-founded by actor/ philanthropist Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, the camp offers week-long summer sessions and family retreat weekends at no charge to children and families. Located in Eustis, Florida, the 232-acre nonprofit serves children ages 7-16 that have been diagnosed with chronic or lifethreatening conditions.
