General-Use Auto-Tuning HPX-T Series Built-in Hyper-tuning automatically adjusts scanning characteristics. Adjustment steps, results and scanning conditions are digitally displayed by LED. Digital display indicates adjustment steps, results and scanning conditions. Indication includes incoming light level, light level margin, insufficient sensitivity, maximum sensitivity setting. types of sensitivity setting can be selected: regular sensitivity setting (presence detection, back/front judgment), positioning sensitivity setting, maximum sensitivity setting. Remote-tuning types (T). Mutual interference prevention by pulse-phase shift system. WIRING DIAGRAMS HPX-T1 (NPN) When driving a direct load HPX-T (PNP) When driving a direct load HPX-T (NPN) When driving a direct load PRECAUTIONS FOR USE 1. Mounting method The single-touch DIN-mounting system allows the HPX-T to be mounted on a DIN rail without using any tools. DIN 1.1 rail mounting/dismounting To mount, hook the front of the amplifier over the DIN rail. When 1. a DIN rail is not used Rear lever DIN rail Push down the rear of the amplifier onto the DIN rail until it clicks into place. To remove the HPX-T from the DIN rail, pull out the rear lever with a flat-head screwdriver. When not using a DIN rail, use the mounting bracket (supplied). To mount the HPX-T on the mounting bracket, follow the same procedure as for the DIN rail.. Precautions for use Wiring.1 Be sure to connect the photoelectric sensor to the power supply and load correctly. If high-voltage or power lines are located near a photoelectric sensor, isolate the photoelectric sensor's cable or put it in a separate conduit to prevent surge or the influence of electrical noise. Connect the cable securely using crimp terminals or the like. If extending the cable, use wire of at least 0.mm in cross-sectional area. The lead length should be kept to 0m at most. When extending the cable, consider the possible influence of increased electrical noise. If a switching power supply is used, ground its frame. If a capacitive load is used, connect a current-limiting resistor to limit inrush current to 0mA or less. Handling. Do not swing a photoelectric sensor by its cable. Do not strike or scratch the scanning head. Do not pull the cable of the photoelectric sensor with excessive force. The pullout strength of the cable 0cm from where it exits the body is about 49N.
