5.Family Stays We offer family stays together with carefully selected local partners. Many host families live south of London, close to the metro and train stations (Zone 3-6). We strive to offer accommodation in carefully selected families at reasonable prices. We want to give the students the opportunity to improve their English skills and learn about British culture. Special conditions when booking family stays To be able to offer the above rates we require groups to book a minimum of one or two additional services in conjunction with the family stay (e.g. transfer and a sightseeing tour). All prices are per person per night based on at least 2 students under 18 per family. Reservations for groups of 20 or more pax are subject to availability. Minimum stay of three nights. There is a supplement of 1.50 per person for two night stays. Please inform us about special dietary needs. If you require specific food, we recommend that you bring it yourself. 8.Guides The success of a journey also requires a qualified tour guide. We offer "bluebadge" - guides (highest qualification as a guide). They answer questions individually and look after the group intensively according to your requests. Large, sprawling markets such as Spitalfields, Camden Market or Portobello Road are ideal if you want to spend a day wandering about, hopefully finding a few bargains along the way. 14. Tours Discover Kent and Sussex (3 Days / 4 nights) Day 1: Canterbury Arrival in the morning by bus in Calais, then proceed through the Euro tunnel to Folkstone. First destination is Canterbury, one of the oldest cities in the country and the Archbishop's seat since 597 center of pilgrimage in the middle Ages. Lunch (2 courses) in a typical pub or restaurant. In the afternoon you will meet your guide and then take a tour (on foot) through the City part with a visit to the cathedral. Arrival at the hotel in Kent (Britannia Grand Burstin or similar). Day 3: Hever Castle and brewery Breakfast at the hotel. Departure. Visit Hever Castle and its gardens, where Queen Anne Boleyn spent part of her childhood. Morning tour of Leeds Castle, often regarded as one of the most beautiful in England. On the 200-acre site, there are several bird houses, a golf course, a maze and herb gardens.
