JAN 2016 The world s first Floating Seahorse was completed in dry docks in Dubai. Before releasing it to the final destination in the sea at the World Islands, 4km off the coast of Dubai, The Floating Seahorse was tested on the synchro-lift to validate its behaviour in the water and verify the watertight seal of all the underwater components. A limited number of Floating Seahorses are now available. MAY 2016 WHAT WE VE ACCOM JUL 2016 Construction work began on Sweden Island in December 2015 and the first two Sweden Palaces are well underway and marked for completion in December 2016. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing as well as landscaping, swimming pool tiling and the interior fit out is well under way. St Petersburg Island was reshaped to resemble a heart. The island has been reshaped to accommodate a Maldives inspired resort, surrounded by Floating Seahorses. The heartshaped island will be home to an infinity pool, landscaped gardens, a pool bar and restaurant and first-class hospitality facilities. Completion is scheduled for Q4 of 2016 and will be ready to take visitors and honeymooners! We have shipped over 60 olive trees to the islands from Andalucía in Spain, with the oldest tree being 1,500 years old. We have started sourcing over 30,000 plants from Europe, that will be located on all six islands onthe Heart of Europe. PLISHED The reshape of Germany Island is underway. It will be shaped like a horseshoe and will hold 15 beachfront villas and 17 lagoon villas. Construction of these sophisticated villas will start and hand over is scheduled for Q3 and Q4 2017. 100,000 coral reefs are being grown in the coral nursery for The Heart of Europe. We have over 11 species, including Favia Speciosa, Favia Pallida and Coscinaria Monile. SEP 2016 The Côte d Azur, our lavish high end 5-star luxury beach hotel. Inspired by Mediterranean style, with superior rooms, suites and deluxe apartments. Côte d Azur will be located on one of the prime beachfront stretches on Main Europe Island at The Heart of Europe which is close to the Main Gate and a short stroll to the majestic amphitheatre. The hotel will have over 800 keys for suites and deluxe apartments. The Portofino Hotel will be the top five-star family hotel in the UAE. Our five-star hotel resort is now open to investors and buyers. The hotel will offer a top class European family experience and will offer professional childcare. Attractions will include, dedicated children s play area, a coral nursery, synchronised swimming, water ballet, sea view units and a Ladies club, where mothers can be pampered like queens.
