Project Name: South East Queensland Water Grid The South East Queensland Water Grid consists of the Northern Interconnector Pipeline, the Southern Regional Water Pipeline, the Eastern Interconnector Pipeline and the Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme. 334km of SINTAKOTE steel pipe in sizes ranging from 800 to 1451 outside diameter. 11. Project Name: Torrens System Upgrade Project Supply of a pipeline within the Torrens Linear Park, between the Torrens Gorge Weir (off Gorge Road, Athelstone) and Gallery Road Highbury. The sites are located in Adelaide s north-eastern suburbs, South Australia. 3.4km of 1829 outside diameter SINTAJOINT RRJ and Welded steel pipe. May 2007 to September 2007. South Australian Water Corporation. First ever supply of 1800 nominal bore SINTAJOINT RRJ steel pipe into South Australia. April 2002 to September 2002. Clarence Valley Council. Contract period was only 21 weeks and Tyco Water supplied all pipes within the specified period with no time extensions required. A jointly funded investigation was conducted into the friction effects on buried SINTAKOTE steel pipelines and resulted in a significant reduction in the number of welded joints required for thrust restraint.
