It focuses mainly on Camogli, an old village by the sea, and its surroundings. In the same area of the famous Cinque Terre, with the same environment, Camogli is a jewel of architecture, a large hamlet with a promenade along the beach, where no cars are allowed. Still several fisherfolks make a living out of the daily catch of their boats here. The place is part of the Regional Park of Portofino, a Protected Area since 1936, which looms beside the historical center. If you want to see what the beauty of mediterranean can be, please come and visit! Camogli is also one of the most popular sites to be visited from Milano. It can be done in 1 day, go and back, by car or by train. Alternatively, it can be covered in 2 days, if you take the time to do so, spending 1 night on the spot. The accomodation we propose for this overnight is within an old friars monastery, refurbished to welcome visitors, with a fantastic view on to the sea. After lunch, boat to Punta Chiappa, to know more about the local fishing activities and the natural park situation. The place is very beautiful. Back in Camogli at 5 pm, still by boat.
