EVENT OVERVIEW Name: Australia China BusinessWeek 2015 Adelaide Date: 10 July 2015 Location: Adelaide Convention Centre-City Rooms No. of attendees: 539 Event Profile: The inaugural Australia China BusinessWeek (ACBW) 2015 Adelaide was held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, on Friday the 10th of July. Australia s only national conference focused on business relations between Australian and Chinese SMEs, over 500 delegates attended Australia China BusinessWeek 2015 Adelaide. The highlight of Australia China BusinessWeek 2015 Adelaide was the ACBW Keynote Luncheon, which launched the NAB-ACBC 2014 Australia China Trade Report in South Australia. South Australian Premier, The Hon. Jay Weatherill MP presented the Keynote Address at this luncheon, with Chief Representative of Union Pay South Pacific, James Yang, presenting the Australia-China Toast. Following this, a panel of industry leaders discussed the NAB-ACBC 2014 Australia China Trade Report, which was chaired by ACBC-South Australia President, Sean Keenihan. Page 2

ACBW 2015 ADELADE FORUM MORNING SESSION The inaugural ACBW 2015 Adelaide Forum Morning Session was co-organized by Australia China Business Council South Australia and chaired by South Australia President, Sean Keenihan, featuring the key thought leaders in the South Australia-China sector. A mix of Individual Presentations, Panel Sessions and Case Studies from South Australian business, academic and government sectors provided delegates an insight into the Chinese market and what opportunities there are available to South Australian businesses. ACBW 2015 KEYNOTE LUNCHEON 1 2 3 4 The highlight of Australia China BusinessWeek 2015 Adelaide, the ACBW Keynote Luncheon brought together 150 delegates, with the keynote address provided by Premier of South Australia,The Hon. Jay Weatherill MP. ACBW 2015 KEYNOTE LUNCHEON NAB ACBC THE 2014 AUSTRALIA-CHINA TRADE REPORT 1 2 A Panel consisting of Roger Gaudion, Head of Agribusiness Desk, NAB, Dr. David Morfesi, Executive Director, Institute for International Trade, The University of Adelaide & David Thomas, CEO of Think Global, discussed the findings of the NAB ACBC The 2014 Australia-China Trade Report. The panel, chaired by Sean Keenihan, President of ACBC South Australia captivated the audience with the changing nature of Australia s business relationship with China. ACBW 2015 FORUM AFTERNOON SESSION The ACBW 2015 Forum Afternoon Session was chaired by CEO of Think Global, David Thomas and featured some of the key services available to Australian businesses, engaged in the China market. ACBW 2015 MIX AT SIX NETWORKING FUNCTION The ACBW Mix-at-Six Networking Function rounded out proceedings for the inaugural ACBW 2015 Adelaide. Co-organised by ACBC-South Australia and the Department of Immigration South Australia, over 100 recently arrived migrants from Immigration South Australia s business migrants program attended this Networking function, joining delegates from Australia China BusinessWeek.
