Turism rutes are an increasingly imprtant cmpnent f natinal turism planning and develpment ffering imprtant pprtunities t fster reginal develpment and integratin. UNWTO has gained significant knwledge ver the years n the issue f turism rutes, namely thrugh its Silk Rad Prgramme; such knwledge, alng with the numerus successful experiences f Member States wrldwide in develping turism rutes, creates an pprtunity t advance further this area f wrk within the Secretariat t the benefit f all Members. The Secretariat thus invites delegatins t share their experiences in the develpment f turism rutes during the thematic discussin.
