Europe Suggestions (1 st Draft) Busabout. http://www.busabout.com/ Not so good as buses only travel every 2 nd day and finish in Oct. Tours: http://www.contiki.com/ & http://www.topdeck.travel/ (Expensive when I last checked it was approx $110to $130 per day) Besides after doing South America independently, I suspect you will have difficulty coping with bogan and the follow the sheep mentality on these Europe tours call me elitist if you wish!!) The good news: Solution is to use Eurail Pass to go wherever you like (see more below re Eurail suggestions) Eurail: http://www.eurail.com/eurail-passes/global-pass
Map: http://www.eurail.com/sites/all/files/eurail.com/downloads/2013/eurailmap-2013.pdf
Accommodation can be arranged very easily on the go using the following website: http://www.hostelworld.com/ (they have a great app & mobile site). It is what most backpackers use these days.
. My suggestions would be as follows: Option 1: Fly Quito to Madrid to arrive approx. 05Jul Spend the day in Madrid having a look around then take the train to Pamplona (3.5 hours). (FYI a round-trip youth ticket is about $66 each way or start using Eurail) then fly to Istanbul on 13Jul from Barcelona. Alternatively go straight to Pamplona and stop for a day or two in Madrid/Barcelona on the way to Istanbul. Flying from Madrid or Barcelona to Istanbul Or Istanbul
