Complex Georgian history has created incredible influence and created a combination of Turkish, mid Asian. Russian, Persian and unique Georgian architecture. Probably the most valuable treasure in Georgia are Georgians themselves: Warm, proud, brave, intelligent and hospitable people. This is Country where guest comes from good and one is hosted generously with local wine and traditional Georgian dishes. Tourists are always excited in our Country. One of the most important indicator of Georgia are its mountains. ( More than a half of Georgian territory consists of mountains.) Svetitskhoveli Cathedral Located in Mtskheta, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral has been the burial site for Georgian kings and is built on the site where it is said that the robe of Jesus is buried. In 337 AD, when Georgia announced Christianity as its official religion, the first Christian King Mirian was advised by St. Nino, to build a church here, over the grave where Christ s robe was buried. Mtskheta Cross Monastery (Jvari) Jvari is one of the masterpieces of Georgian architecture and is now listed as one of the World Heritage sites by UNESCO. It was built on a hill near Mtskheta overlooking the estuary of two rivers, the Mtkvari and Aragvi. A Ananuri Fortress - XVI-XVII C The fairy-tale Ananuri ensemble is beautifully situated on the Georgian Military Highway, on the shore of the azure blue Zhinvali reservoir. Zurab Aragveli, who is responsible for building much of what is now seen, was a ruthless local prince known for attacking neighboring mountain clans and even blinding his own brother. Gergeti Trinity Church This spectacular building says Georgia like no other buildings can. The Tsminda Sameba or Gergetis Thrinity Church has been the subject of a million tourist photos, book covers and postcards. Built of massive granite blocks at a height of 2,170 metres, the 14th century cross-domed church and bell tower are an amazing feat of architecture and sheer human dedication.
Gudauri Resort Gudauri, at over 2,000 meters above sea level, is situated on the Georgian military road near the Cross Mountain Pass of the main Caucasus range, about 120km from Tbilisi. Even in mild winters, Gudauri offers reliable snow cover from November through April. The total length of groomed ski runs are over 20km and are suitable for all skiers, from beginners to experts. Gudauri is well known for its winter activities and hosts ski and snowboard competitions and sports festivals every year. Gudauri is also a great summer destination, offering bird watching, trekking, horseback riding and rafting.

Borjomi Borjomi is a resort town in south-central Georgia with a population estimated at 14,445. It is one of the districts of the Samtskhe -Javakheti region and is situated in the northwestern part of the region in the picturesque Borjomi Gorgeon the eastern edge of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. The town is famous for its mineral water industry (which is the number one export of Georgia), the Romanov summer palace in Likani, and the WWF for Naturesite Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Bakuriani Bakuriani, the great mountain resort of Georgia, is a feast for snowlovers and skiers. It is an internationally known winter sports centre, built to Olympic standards and Novices and children equally enjoy their first winter sports steps in this winter paradise. Off the slopes, one of the most interesting places to visit in Bakuriani is the Botanical Garden, which opened in 1910. Over 1,500 species of plants provide a rich collection of Alpine and Sub-Alpine vegetation.

Bagrati Cathedral Bagrati Cathedral proudly watches over Kutaisi and the Rioni River and has been the home of the Colchis Kings since ancient times. The cathedral, is regarded as a masterpiece in the history of medieval Georgian architecture. Since 1994 the Cathedral has been under the protection of UNESCO and there are regular religious services held in the cathedral. It s been renovated recently. Dadiani Palaces Historical and Architectural Museum The museum complex includes: palaces of the Samegrelo (West Georgia) queen EkaterineChavchavadze-Dadiani and Prince Niko Dadiani, court church, and the botanic garden (60-90-ies of the XIX c., architects: G.Rais and L.Vasiliev). In 1850-ies, Prince David Dadiani organized a museum in the palace, where weredisplayed discovered during accidental excavations unique numismatic materials from the Archaeopolis (Samegrelo region, present day villagenokalakevi), theantique period town, as well as Dadiani family collections of medieval European armor and weapons, ethnographic objects, and fine art. At the present in the museum are kept: samples of the I c. B.C. XIX A.D. goldsmith works (icons, various religious objects, fine art samples)
Sataplia Karst Cave Sataplia karst cave (600m long) is located near Kutaisi, in Tskhaltubo municipality. It was discovered in 1925 and 10 years later, in 1935, the Sataplia Nature Reserve was established to help protect the cave and the dinosaur s foot-prints discovered nearby. Sataplia Cave is named after Sataplia Mountain, which gained its name from the local tradition of collecting honey from the bees that inhabit the mountain s southern slope. Sataplia means place of honey. A Conservation Center and Museum have been constructed, together with glass walkways, viewing points, a cafeteria and other visitor amenities.
