The renovation project, headed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, extended to a large part of the facilities and has given the hotel an exceptionally elegant ambience. In June, H10 Hotels finished the extensive refurbishment of its H10 Rubicón Palace hotel. The work consisted of renovating the resort s main block, home to the Lobby, the Front Desk, the Janubio Restaurant and the Privilege Lounge, as well as the guest rooms. Improvements have also been made to the Despacio Thalasso Centre, and the gym and solarium have been renovated as well. In addition to these new features in the facilities, the resort s range of services has been increased, turning it into a 5-star establishment again. The renovation project, managed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, was inspired by the island of Lanzarote and its colours: the white of its whitewashed houses, the green of its vegetation and the black of its volcanic rocks. These colours predominate both in the buildings which stand out in black and white and in the interior design. The impressive Lobby features an archway with dolphins to welcome guests, one of the most unusual elements in the entire space. A large nautical chart showing the Canary Islands dominates the Front Desk area, while other charts showing the region appear in the rest of the Lobby and the Lobby Bar. The Lobby Bar now includes a refurbished terrace with exceptional sea views. Another focus for enhancements was the swimming pool area, where the paving and outdoor furniture have been changed to give them a totally renovated look. Lobby Lobby Bar Dining options: The refurbishment also included the Janubio Restaurant, where the standout feature of the newly created setting is the different stations that recall market stands and offer specialities focused on fresh products. Guests will benefit from a bespoke table service and be able to choose from a huge variety of healthy dishes made to order: meat, fish, Italian pasta, antipasti, as well as vegan and vegetarian specialities and options with touches from different parts of the world. The company has also enhanced its range of dining options with the refurbishment of the Beefeater Sports Bar and incorporating the new Mike s Coffee, a cosy space where guests can try tea or coffee specialities accompanied by homemade cakes or smoothies. The extensive and varied range of cuisine at the H10 Rubicón Palace is rounded off with a further five restaurants and three bars, including à la carte restaurants such as the Steak House, specializing in American cooking, and the Sakura, offering oriental delights. Rooms: The rooms have been refurbished with an interior design featuring fine materials such as wenge wood and pure colours such as black and white, which highlight the amazing views and create an atmosphere perfect for relaxation. This simple elegance is punctuated by colourful details such as the green chairs and round mirrors.
