PROCOLOMBIA is the Government entity that fosters exports, tourism, investment, grows the industry for internationalization and integrates the work of the Country s Brand at the strategic level to promote Colombia. PROCOLOMBIA has 8 regional offices in Colombia and 26 commercial offices around the world with presence in more than 30 countries.

IMPACT SOURCING What is Impact Sourcing? According to the Rockefeller Foundation, Impact Sourcing is defined as outsourcing operations that benefit vulnerable populations with high unemployment rates. There are different advantages of implementing operations under the Impact Sourcing approach, both for the company and the community that receive such benefits: 1 Between 15% and 40% decrease in employee attrition rates, resulting from a greater employee commitment to the organization. Reduced installation costs. Around 70% in savings compared to operations in the United States or the United Kingdom. Inclusion of social responsibility within a corporate strategy. Why choose Colombia for Impact Sourcing operations? Colombia has made tremendous efforts in reducing poverty and extreme poverty. According to the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), in the last 10 years extreme poverty decreased from 14.8% to 8.1% and the poverty index went from 47.4% to 28.5%. Nevertheless, the country still has a considerable gap in terms of inequality. During the last 10 years, Colombia has improved by 0.020 points on the Gini index. Additionally, poverty in rural areas is almost double that in urban areas. The generation of formal work is one of the tools in closing the gap that currently exists in the country. The BPO sector, without a doubt, attracts human talent and offers work opportunities with all of the necessary benefits to improve its quality of life. 5 Invest in COLOMBIA Employee income can increase between 40% and 200%. BPO work can impact 3 or 4 members of just one family. Source: The case for impact sourcing, Everest Group.
