SUMMER SEASON GETTING MORE POPULAR AND LONGER High summer season months (June-August) were the most typical months for the Korean to stay in Finland, and they attracted an ever-increasing number of overnights in 2015 compared to previous year. The share of winter Lapland has increased over the last decade, while Coast and archipelago and Lakeland areas have lost their share of the total Korean overnights in Finland. DESTINATION AREAS BY SEASON A majority of overnights were registered in Uusimaa region in the summer as well as in the winter season. Lapland also attracted a nice share of overnights in the winter. Other regions (not specifically indicated on the map) accounted for 5 % or less of total overnights in Finland.
