Commercial Burglaries: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information 06/24/2015 5:59pm 21000 Bridge St. (Commercial-Industrial Business) Entry through roll up garage door. Victim stated he left the warehouse at approx. 4:00pm. When he returned at approx. 5:00pm tools were missing and there was damage to the roll up garage door. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information From: 06/22/2015 8:00am To: 06/22/2015 8:00pm 25000 Greenfield Rd. (Apartments) No force. Victims lost keys were believed to have been used. Victim lost her keys to her apartment within the last 2 days. Victim reports an unknown suspect entered her apartment and stole cash. From: 06/25/2015 7:30am To: 06/25/2015 5:00pm 20000 Mada 3- Screens were removed from windows on back of home. Attempt Only, entry wasn t gained. Victim advised that she left her home this morning at 7:30am and secured it. Victim returned to her home at 5:00pm and discovered that 3 screens had been removed from the rear sliding windows that are on the back of her home. Victim advised that she could see handprints on the windows and that entry was not gained. Victim advised that she has an alarm system on her home and the alarm did not go off. 06/26/2015 4:51pm 19000 Magnolia Pkwy. Window air conditioner was pushed in. Homeowner advises that sometime between 8:00am- 4:45pm someone forced entry into his residence by pushing in the window air conditioner on the east side of the house. The dresser drawers were gone through and a Flat Screen TV was taken from a bedroom.

From: 06/25/2015 4:00am To: 06/25/2015 8:00am 20000 Westland Dr. Garage window was broken out allowing access to the basement. On 06/25/2015 at approx. 4:00am, victim states he heard glass breaking to the rear of the house but thought it was something playing on his son s television. At approx. 8:00am, victim spoke with his son that lives with him, who told him that his brother broke the window to the garage door and slept in the basement during the night. Victims son told his dad that he wasn t sure when the other brother left. Victim stated that from time to time he does allow his other son to stay at the house or clean up. Victim doesn t know where his son lives now. He is presumed to be homeless. 06/25/2015 11:42pm 29000 Somerset Dr. Rear door wall was pried open. Victim advises he was gone between Friday, June 19th around 6:00am and Tuesday, June 23rd around 8:00pm. Victim discovered Home Invasion after returning home. 2- Computers and a Camera are missing. Victim suspects a handyman who knew victim was going to be out of town and went through the house with victim prior to victim leaving. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

The residence was ransacked. The couches were flipped; cereal boxes in the kitchen had been taken out and emptied. A large flat screen TV that was mounted on the wall was dismounted and placed on the floor of the apartment. Victim advises cash and jewelry are missing.

(Condo s) Status R- Recovered Stolen Manufacturer Chevrolet Model Malibu Color SIL - Silver or Aluminum Vehicle Year 2015 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MN License Year 2016 Description Silver 2015 Chevrolet Malibu Officers were dispatched to location on recovered stolen vehicle. Officers located vehicle and also attempted to locate subject that failed to return rented vehicle. (Rental) The suspect wasn t located and the vehicle was recovered and impounded. Suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

From: 06/28/2015 8:30am To: 06/28/2015 10:20am 23000 Lahser Rd (Church) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer CHEVROLET Model SONIC Color BRO - Brown Vehicle Year 2013 Body Style 4D - 4 Door State MI License Year 2016 Description 2013 Brown Chevrolet Sonic Victim reports he parked his vehicle at his home on 06/28/2015 at approximately 8:30am. When he returned at 10:20am, the vehicle was missing. Victim resides at the church. Note: It s possible that the vehicle was taken with a key. Larceny: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details From: 06/22/2015 1:00am To: 06/22/2015 8:30am 06/23/2015 5:29am 16000 W Nine Mile Rd. Radio was taken. Victim states the radio was stolen out of her rental vehicle on Monday June 22, 2015 sometime between 1:00am & 10:30am. Entry was gained by breaking out the passenger door window. No suspect information. 22000 Golfview Dr. Attempted to take Wheels & Tires from 2015 Chrysler 200. Reporting party (R/P) advises at 5:00am he discovered that someone had removed the lug nuts from the rear wheels of his girlfriend s Chrysler 200. R/P stated he saw a suspicious vehicle ride slowly past his home around that same time. He described the vehicle as a Silver Mercury Sable with a dent on the front right fender. The vehicle was occupied by one black male.

From: 06/22/2015 6:00pm To: 06/23/2015 6:00am 21000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial-Body Shop) 3-2015 Ford Edge had their Wheels & Tires taken. Three (3) vehicles were attacked at the Dealership Body Shop. Officer observed 3 Ford Edge Vehicles (2015) sitting up on cement blocks missing their wheels and tires. Officers observed the south fence cut and then a west fence cut behind the complex to gain access to the vehicles. 06/23/2015 11:41pm 27000 Northwestern (Hotel) 2- Wheels & Tires were taken from 2015 Buick Verano. Officers were dispatched to Hotel reference an LFA that just occurred. Witnesses report they were in their hotel room when they heard two loud thumps. Witnesses looked out the window and observed 2- B/M s actively taking tires from a Silver Buick. Witness reports she saw one of the subjects with a jack on the right side of the vehicle. He was described as a B/M, 5 11, slim build, late 20 s wearing a black t-shirt and dark jeans. A second suspect was observed loading up tires into a Black or Green 4-Dr. Older Model Explorer. This subject was described as a B/M, heaver build 5 11, late 20 s, with a beard, wearing a jacket and dark jeans. The suspects were not located at this time.

06/25/2015 3:12am 23000 Village House Dr. S (Condo s) 3- Wheels & Tires were taken from Lincoln MKZ. Officers were dispatched to Condo s for a LFA in progress. Suspects left complex in a White Vehicle. A Southfield Officer located suspect vehicle near Northwestern & Lahser Rd. The vehicle fled from Officer when he attempted to stop the vehicle and he pursued vehicle to the area of James Couzens & Curtis were both suspects bailed out on foot. Officers located one of the suspects running on Strathmore St. A Southfield Police K-9 Officer & his K-9 responded to this area and started a track. One of the suspects was located by K-9 hiding in the bushes behind a garage at a residence. The suspect was ordered and warned to show his hands and come out but he refused the order. The suspect was warned if he didn t come out what the consequences would be and the K-9 would bite him. The suspect still refused to show his hands or surrender to Officers. K-9 was given the apprehension command. K-9 engaged the suspect biting him on the left calf. The suspect screamed out "Ok i give up." the suspect then crawled out of the bushes. The suspect however still continued to resist Officers and had to be forcefully taken into custody. A search of the suspect vehicle by Officer s discovered a cell phone belonging to the suspect.

The apprehended suspect s wallet with a credit card and identification was located and a bag containing several small baggies of suspected marijuana was located on the driver side front floorboard. The suspect was arrested for LFA, Obstruct Police, & Flee & Eluding. The second suspect wasn t apprehended at this time. From: 06/25/2015 3:45pm To: 06/25/2015 5:00pm 28000 Telegraph Rd. (Commercial Fitness Center) Backpack was taken from victim s 2015 Honda Civic. Victim states on Thursday June 25, 2015 @3:45pm she parked and locked her vehicle. Upon returning to her vehicle at 5:00pm she discovered the passenger sides vent window broken and her backpack missing. No suspect information.

From: 06/25/2015 9:00pm To: 06/26/2015 9:00am 06/27/2015 6:00am 27000 Northwestern (Storage Lot For Car Dealership) 25000 W Twelve Mile (Apartments) -All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from Dodge Charger. - Window was broken out on 2013 Chrysler 300. All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2015 Ford Explorer. Reporting party (R/P) the lease return coordinator for Dealership stated on June 26, 2015@ 9:00am upon inspecting the vehicles they discovered the Wheels & Tires were stolen off the Dodge Charger and the driver side window was broken on the Chrysler 300. No suspect information. Investigation revealed that sometime overnight between 9:30pm- 6:00am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from 2015 Ford Explorer.

From: 06/26/2015 10:00pm To: 06/27/2015 7:00am 28000 Franklin Rd. (Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Ford Fusion. Sometime overnight between 10:00pm and the following morning at 7:00am someone took All Four Wheels & Tires from victims 2014 Ford Fusion. From: 06/25/2015 12:00pm To: 06/26/2015 12:00pm 16000 Cumberland Rd. (Apartments) Handgun was stolen. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens should never leave a handgun in their vehicle. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked Victim stated his gun was stolen out of his vehicle sometime between Thursday June 25, 2015 & Friday June 26, 2015. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. The gun was in the center console.

Armed Robbery: Date/Time Address (block range) Item Taken Details 06/25/2015 7:58am 25000 Basin St (Apartments) Driver s License & Cell Phone. Victim stated he has known suspect for 4-5 months now. They met on an online chat site. The suspect has pictures on his profile. Victim (male) stated that he had consensual sex with suspect (also a male) once in the past. Victim stated suspect called asking if he could come over. Victim stated yes and suspect came over. Once in the apartment suspect pulled out a silver revolver and said where's the money. Victim stated he had no money and suspect told him to get on his knees on the floor while he tossed the room. Victim thought he was going to get shot. Suspect dumped victims purse and took his driver s license, cell phone and then fled the scene. Incident is under investigation. Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police. If something doesn t appear right or someone looks like they are up to no good, call the police immediately

Trust your intuition Unarmed Robbery: 06/23/2015 7:51am W Nine Mile Rd. & Providence Dr. Cell Phone was taken. Officers were on patrol in the area of 9 Mile at Providence Rd. Several citizens both in vehicles and pedestrians were honking their horns and waving their arms flagging Officers down. Officers stopped and were directed toward the front visitor parking lot of Providence Hospital. Witnesses stated the subject on the ground had just robbed the victim of her cell phone. Suspect was being held on the ground by a citizen who intervened after witnessing the Robbery. After interviewing witnesses and victim it was discovered that the suspect had walked up to victim when she was using her phone at the bus stop, snatched her phone, knocking her to the ground and then fled on foot.

06/25/2015 9:35pm 25000 Lahser (Office Building) Purse with contents & a Watch. Victims purse contained her ID, credit cards, cash & cell phone. Victim stated at 9:45pm she was exiting her work and headed to her vehicle when she was suddenly approached by a light skinned black male in dark clothing. Suspect told her to give him her purse and what was on her wrist. Victim complied with the demands and handed over her purse and he removed her watch from her wrist. Suspect told her not to turn around and he fled to the adjacent parking lot and got into the passenger side of an unknown make Blue Mini Van. Suspect Description: Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) Sex M Race BLACK Hair Color Black Complexion Light Build Thin Height 6' 0" - 5' 11" Tips: Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious incidents or persons to your local police
