The er lands at the Marysville Dock (the "summer dock") from spring to fall, and lands at the Dawson Point Dock (the "winter dock") through the winter. 613.548.7227 // frontenacislands.ca HORNE S FERRY Ferry between, Alexandria Point and Cape Vincent, New York Horne s Ferry costs $18 per motorized vehicle, $3 per cyclist, and $2 per pedestrian. It takes about 10 minutes to cross and it operates from spring to fall. See hferry.com for schedule and more information. Be prepared to show travel documents. Proof of citizenship is required. BIG SANDY BAY BUS Catch the FREE bus to Big Sandy Bay Conservation Area! Every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday during July and August, a bus will transport visitors from Marysville to Big Sandy Bay. Big Sandy Bay is about 10km from the ferry dock in Marysville, a distance that usually requires a car, and waiting in a long ferry line-up. Now you can leave your car behind in Kingston and walk on the ferry, even if you re headed to Big Sandy Bay. See details on the next page. Here are the two most convenient lots for parking while you visit : Frontenac Lot: King Street Drury Lot: Queen Street at Wellington Payment Required: Monday Saturday, 9:30am to 5:30pm Hourly Rate: $1 Rogers K-Rock Centre event parking: $6 Maximum Time: All day *Google City of Kingston Parking Lots and Garages for more options. HonkMobile lets you pay for parking with your phone in most downtown municipal lots. You can also top-up your parking remotely as well. MARYSVILLE About 100 steps from the ferry is Main Street, where all the village s shops and eateries are clustered. Only a ten minute walk from one end to the other, Marysville is the ideal place to relax without a vehicle. Park your car in Kingston and don t worry about the ferry lineup. Just stroll over to the dock when you see the er III pulling in, grab a seat on the top deck, and enjoy the free cruise portion of your experience. Walk on. Wait less. Relax more. Big Sandy Bay Bus Catch the bus at Town Hall. From the ferry dock, turn right onto Main Street and walk past Fargo s General Store. You will find Town Hall just across the street. The bus only runs on weekends and holidays in July and August. See VisitWolfeIsland.ca for the shuttle schedule, which is subject to change without notice. The Big Sandy Bay bus is a standard school bus that is not wheel-chair accessible, does not allow pets, and does not have a bicycle rack. Riders are welcome to bring strollers, wagons, and coolers only if you can get them onto the bus yourself. The driver cannot help load or unload these items.
