Idia Port Sector is Poised for High Growth Maritime Ageda 2010-2020 The Maritime Ageda (2010-2020) proposes a ivestmet of INR 1,280 b i 424 projects i major ports ad INR 1,680 b i o-major ports by 2020. It was estimated i the Maritime Ageda that Gujarat aloe would build capacity of 620 MMTPA at estimated INR 742 b. The capacity additio of 620 MMTPA represets 48% share of total capacity additio evisaged by the No-Major ports. May gree-field ports are plaed i Gujarat. The projects are also evisaged i the areas of coal termial, SBM, Cotaier termials ad LNG termials. 12th Five Year Pla (2012-2017) OUTLOOK OF THE PORT SECTOR The 12th Five Year Pla proposes to give thrust to coastal shippig.
