Statement on safety for the disabled At Wild Wadi Waterpark we want eryone to come here and ha fun. Our waterpark is accessible to most but we ha to be realistic and some of the rides we ha here at Wild Wadi Waterpark are not suitable for people with certain disabilities, for their safety and the safety of our other guests. We hope that this information along with signage placed at the entrance of ery ride will help guests with disabilities to assess their own abiltiies and to make an informed decision regarding which rides will be acceptable and not put themsels, and others, in any danger. We welcome guests with disabilities and will ensure that they ha a safe and pleasant visit to Wild Wadi Waterpark. Safety is our primary concern and some of our rides are physically demanding and therefore not suitable to certain guests as recommended by the ride supplier. We reser the right to and will refuse admission onto certain rides should we feel that to ride would place a guest in a dangerous situation. This does not constitute discrimination against the disabled decisions will only er be made in the interest of safety. All rides ha information boards that state the lel of the ride and the rules of the ride. Lifeguards and staff are all fully trainined in the requirements of each ride and the guests abilities required in order for them to ride safely the lifeguards will always act in the guests best interest and may refuse access due to physical limitations a guest may ha. B. Information for disabled guests B1 Parking Facilities: A limited number of Disabled Parking bays are available at the entrance to the Car Park; please ensure that you ha a disabled parking badge to show to Security. Alternatily we ha a Drop Off area at the front of the Waterpark. There is no charge for using our car park. 2
B2 Admissions Guests with disabilities pay a reduced rate for entrance. Please ensure that you can provide evidence of your disability our Admissions staff will ner presume to know what your disability is. One helper will pay a reduced rate for entrance also. It would help our Admission staff if you could let us know in advance of your arrival and the numbers in your party so that we can arrange to ha access and wristbands ready for your arrival to reduce the waiting time. On arrival all entrances are wheelchair accessible but please approach the information desk at the front of the Waterpark for information regarding tickets if you ha pre booked your visit. Group visits please contact our customer services team for information regarding group tickets and discounts available. B3 Ride access We allow Guests with the following disabilities to bypass any queue at rides: Permanently wheelchair bound. Ha problems with identifying the concept of queuing. Ha difficulties with social interaction. Has limited capabilities to understand instruction. Who may become agitated or distressed if they ha to wait for any extended period of time? The guests may not be forced to stand in the formal queue line, but will be asked to wait on the side, in a location that is comfortable for them, until it is their time to ride. A virtual spot in the queue will be held for these guests. B4 Rules for riders Always follow the guidance and instruction from the lifeguard. Should you be in any distress or feel unwell during the wait for the ride you must inform the lifeguard who will assist and call for help. If the lifeguard tells you that the ride is unsuitable due to your disability and there is a safety risk then you will not be allowed to embark on the ride. 3
Certain attractions may require that a disabled person enters with a helper; persons or the age of 16 would be considered suitable helpers. Helpers must be with the disabled person at all times. Helpers must be able to communicate instructions from the lifeguards to the disabled guest and assist in case of emergency if needed. B5 Ride safety Seral rides are unsuitable for guests with disabilities, pregnant guests, guests with heart or back conditions. All attractions ha information boards at their entrance containing rules and limitations. Please read the signs. We strongly recommend that guests who ha recently had surgery or a recent accident seek medical advice from their doctor before participating in activities at the waterpark. All of our rides are water based; some require that guests are able to maintain an upright position and to be able to hold onto the handles with two hands due to the forces experienced on the rides. Not all rides are suitable for all guests. Each ride has operational and safety rules to ensure the riders safety. Wild Wadi Waterpark will adhere to these rules at all times we ask that guests please recognize that we will not break these rules they are there for your own safety!! It is possible to watch many of the rides prior to getting to the entrance this may help disabled guests or helpers make a decision on the suitability of the ride. Our guests safety is our prime consideration. Our rules are based on the manufacturers guidelines. C. Disabled Facilities C1.Toilet There is a disabled toilet facility near to the main entrance adjacent to the Ladies Changing Room. 4
C2.Restaurant access The Main kitchen areas: Julshan s Burgers & Dogs, Juha s Family Kitchen and Riptide Pizza are all on one lel and are accessible to wheelchair users. C3.Wheelchair Hire A limited number of wheelchairs are available to rent please contact us in advance for rates and availability. C4.Guide dogs Assistant/guide dogs are welcome at Wild Wadi Waterpark but are unable to accompany guests onto any rides for safety reasons. Please advise our staff prior to coming to Wild Wadi Waterpark if you wish to bring a guide dog. C5.First aid We ha a dedicated First Aid Centre with fully qualified Paramedics in attendance at all times. The First Aid Centre is located near the Main Entrance next door to General Mahmar s shop. Lifeguards are all trained in CPR and emergency First Aid procedures. D.
