There you will be able to obtain any forms and flyers that you may need. If you don t see what you need contact your area rep and they will assist you. LOWER MAINLAND REPORT Irene & I are still on Vancouver Island and loving every minute of it. We get together twice a week with the UMCI group up in Nanaimo. On January 8th we drove up to Comox and met Doug & Mary Ann Knox for breakfast. Jack Lightburn from Nanaimo came with us. Jack had been stationed in Comox for several years when he was in the Air Force. It was great to have him along as he guided us around and we saw a lot of places that we would otherwise have not known about. At one of the breakfasts in Nanaimo Mike Daley arrived on his 1979 R65 BMW that he has completely restored. What a great job he did, something to be very proud of. Remember to contact Abe Peters if you are thinking of putting on a BC 500 ride this year as he is looking for someone to do it. Rick & Irene Evans Lower Mainland Reps

Happy Belated Birthday Ned from all your BC UMCI friends. Ned, yours is going to be a hard act to follow, have many more years of riding. January 7, 2012 at Mick Kelly s Irish Pub in Burien. A day I ll remember happily forever. There were at least 40 people there helping celebrate my 90th birthday. Many family members including a surprise visit of my stepson from Long Beach, California. A call from Kathy Case in Idaho. A call from Thelma Ware in Arizona. Nate Levin from Oregon. I hadn t seen him since our Germany trip in 2000. That is the May 24th weekend. It will be in Osoyoos on the patio of NK'Mip Cellars. This is the weekend of the UMCI spring campout. There is a 'motel' nearby where you can reserve rooms. They are very nice, so I hear, and the cost should be around $99 a night. If you want a room I need to know so I can reserve the number we need. After the celebration at NK'Mip we will move to the campground where more refreshments will be available. All is within walking distance. Barb Pomeroy
