RECREATIONAL PILOT LICENCE Recreational Pilot Licence RPL During this stage students fly in Cessna 152 s and learn how to handle the aircraft through simple manoeuvres. The course runs Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm for 8 weeks. Students will be under the supervision of a qualified instructor and will learn to fly the aircraft and learn all its essentials in the theory classes. Students will experience their first solo flight during this course, this is a fantastic achievement for students and brings them a step closer to achieving their milestones. The course is offered either full-time or part-time. The full-time course takes 8 days to complete. Students will be trained on handling a remote pilot aircraft, regulatory requirements, human factor considerations and current technologies. Graduates will be well prepared for a career as a Remote Pilot Operator. It is a full time, 42 week course with compulsory attendance from Monday to Friday. There are 2 weeks of holidays during the 42 weeks. DIPLOMA OF AVIATION (FI) Diploma of Aviation Flight Instructor - AVI50510 CRICOS course code: 090134G The AVI50510 Diploma of Aviation (Flight Instructor) is a 16 week course designed to get students through their Flight Instructor Rating assessment with CASA, and prepare them for their career as an instructor. The course runs from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. It is targeted at students who want to work for a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) as a Flight Instructor. Students train to be an instructor in a Cessna 152 with a Grade 1 instructor. Candidates will also be required to pass a theory assessment run by a Senior Basair Instructor prior to qualifying for the course.
