Afternoon Cairo city tour and special welcoming supper followed by tour briefing presented by Bonnie Day 3: Saturday 10 Nov Early Morning sacred tour to the Giza pyramids & Sphinx *(We ll arrange for a private group entry to the Great Pyramid and time for mediation inside the burial chamber) Balance of the day if free at the Pyramids site for your own personal experience Evening Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids Day 4: Sunday 11 Nov Morning tour to Saqqara Necropolis and the Step Pyramid. Continue your tour after lunch to Dahshur and see the Red and Bent Pyramids (Time for Meditation) Back to your hotel for rest and overnight. Day 5: Monday 12 Nov Transfer to Cairo airport for your morning domestic flight to Luxor Upon arrival in Luxor visit Karnak Temple complex and transfer to your cruise ship for 7 nights cruise (Luxor-Luxor) Later this evening you will visit Luxor Temple by night, overnight onboard in Luxor Day 6: Tuesday 13 Nov Drive approx. 3 hours to the north of Luxor to visit Abydos Temple and its mystic Osirion structure, and then proceed in the afternoon- on your way back to Luxor- to visit Dendera temple dedicated to the cow goddess Hathor. Hotels may curtail or alter some facilities without notice, usually for the purposes of ongoing maintenance and improvement. Use of recreation equipment and facilities which may be included in your holiday package are subject to availability. All A La Carte Travel hotel rooms are contracted on a "run of the house" basis. Specific requirements with regard to room location and other special requests cannot be guaranteed, and in most cases cannot be confirmed prior to departure. This is at the discretion of the hotel. A La Carte Travel reserves the right to restrict the number of single, double, triple, quad and child bookings it will accept at a particular property. CHILDREN Unless otherwise stated, children's prices are restricted to children under 12 years of age, sharing a room with two full paying adults. TRAVEL POLICY All passengers must have Visa and all health and other documentation required by laws of the countries they will be visiting. It is recommended that you check all the requirements. A La Carte Travel will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any passenger not having the correct documentation and no refunds will be made. RESPONSIBILITY The travel agent and/or tour operator acts only as an agent for the various companies, owners, or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodation, and other services pertaining to the trip. All exchange orders, coupons and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodation and other services are offered or provided. The issuance or acceptance of such tickets shall be deemed as consent to the future conditions. A La Carte Travel will not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or any irregularity in any vehicle or through the act of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or any hotel proprietor, personnel or servant of any other person, resulting in loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in connection herewith. A La Carte Travel cannot accept the responsibility for changes in transportation schedule or other causes. The right is reserved to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour, or to change or withdraw the tour as circumstances demand. Each exchange coupon, order or ticket is to be regarded as one contracted by or on behalf of the particular company or person named in it. BAGGAGE Baggage is carried at owner's risk. The company assumes no responsibility for damage, loss, or mishandling of baggage. Baggage insurance is highly recommended. RESERVATIONS Reservations should be made as early as possible to ensure space. We will accept reservations up to departure date if space is available. Reservations are accepted through authorized travel agents. DEPOSITS A non-refundable deposit of $ 500 per person in a DBL room and $900 per person in a SGL room is required at the time of booking. This deposit is required to secure space with airlines, hotels and other suppliers. PAYMENTS Final payments should be made no later than 60 days prior to departure and in full if the reservation is made less than 60 days before departure. Cheques and Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards can be used as forms of payment with an additional 3% surcharge on all credit cards payments. Some restrictions apply. CHANGES Changes will be made upon availability of space at a charge of $100. Changes made within 60 days will be subject to our cancellation fees described herewith. No refunds will be made for missed sightseeing trips, transfers, meals or hotel accommodation not used. CANCELLATION FEES If you are forced to cancel your booking, you must advise us in writing. The following charges are effective, plus any non-refundable fees previously submitted, from the day written notification of your cancellation is received: 60 days or more prior to departure: Your non-refundable deposit 35-60 days prior to departure: 50% of the total holiday cost 35-0 days prior to departure: 100% of the total holiday cost TRAVEL INSURANCE It is recommended to buy trip cancellation and medical insurance to protect yourself against cancellation and/or changes which will be a result of sickness or other accidents or emergencies. A La Carte Travel will not make any refunds beyond it's cancellation policy to customers that refused to purchase travel insurance. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE For transatlantic flights one checked bag per person. Total dimensions of both bags not to exceed 265cm. And neither bag may exceed 159cm. Within Europe and North America total baggage allowance is 20kg. Some restrictions apply and baggage allowance subject to change by air carriers at any time without notice. TRAVELLER'S RESPONSIBILITY A La carte Travel will do its utmost to update customers with any pertinent Travel Advisory information that will come to A La Carte Travel s attention. However, final responsibility lies with the passenger for any up to date Government Travel Advisory. Cancellation insurance will not provide coverage if Government Travel Advisory exists. PRICE INCREASE We reserve the right to impose surcharges (Price Increase) up to 30 days prior to departure date due to fluctuations in exchange rates, air fares, fuel cost, and increase f local operators cost, etc. If the price increase is more than 7 % than the tour cost, the client may choose to cancel the tour upon notification and obtain a full refund excluding Trip Cancellation Premium and/or flights).
