ADDING VALUE AS A GOOD CITIZEN KEY TO THE RAMBLEWILD MISSION IS PLAYING AN ACTIVE, VITAL ROLE IN THE BERKSHIRE COMMUNITY. WE WANT TO FORGE LASTING PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL INSTITUTIONS TO HELP SUPPORT THE REGION LOCAL BOOSTER Our park benefits the surrounding community and region in many ways: Local youths and adults have a healthy alternative to technological devices, and are encouraged to interact with nature We re a great partner for cross-marketing campaigns with other tourist destinations Guests staying at local hotels and resorts can enjoy a wealth of alternative activities Offers unique collaboration opportunities with local schools, clubs and organizations to enhance their current curriculums and programs NATURE DEFICIT DISORDER A generation of children is growing up today with a dramatic lack of connection to nature. Computers, electronics and a fragmented, distracting social culture have separated them from the soothing, connecting, grounding effects of forests and nature growing wild. We want to change that, and we know that forests have a well-documented, transformative mind-body effect. Simply being in the Ramblewild environment offers an exceptionally calming, therapeutic break from everyday life. And our tree-to-tree challenge courses, with their self-guided approach, are designed to have a profound impact on visitors self-confidence and happiness. Our mission is to bring people back to the forest and to develop an understanding, appreciation and respect for nature in everyone. ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARD We re eco-friendly, with a sustainability mission, minimal impact in design, and environmental preservation at our core. We believe engagement with the environment is the first step for people to begin caring about and supporting it Ramblewild is low-impact: everything you see in our challenge courses has been installed and can be removed without any harm to the trees, and root systems are protected from heavy traffic. When we leave, it s as if we d never been here 10 1 1
