LOCATION Deganwy Marina lies on the Conwy river adjacent to the town of Deganwy and forms the heart of a prestigious development built in 2004 on the Conwy estuary. The building was completed in 2004 and is finished to a good specification. It is of steel portal frame construction with insulated cavity block work walling which extends to eaves height and has a rendered exterior. It has an insulated pitched slate roof; windows are tinted double glazed units in blue anodized alloy frames. Timber finishes are light oak and flooring is predominately floor tiles or carpets tiles. The majority of ceilings are suspended with recessed lighting. The marina is readily accessible being only a short distance from the A55 North Wales expressway which provides excellent road communications to Chester (44 miles), Liverpool (55 miles) and Manchester (80 miles). Rail services are available from Llandudno Junction nearby which also has a branch line to Llandudno with a station at Deganwy.
