Designed exclusively by One Ocean Expeditions, two guests will embark in a twin private cabin from Louisbourg, NS and experience all summer 2018 voyage itineraries including Labrador & the Torngat Mountains, Baffi n Island and Lancaster Sound, exploration of the High Arctic, Pathways to Franklin, and the iconic Northwest Passage. Upon arrival in Cambridge Bay the adventure continues with a fl ight leaving the Arctic heading back into Southern Canada. Hosted by Fairmont Hotels in all gateway cities our guests enjoy the ultimate comforts aff orded by Gold Floor accommodations prior to boarding the next phase of the journey onboard with VIA Rail. Guests are booked in Canadian Prestige class between Jasper, Alberta and Toronto, Ontario, then transition to Business class between Toronto and Montreal, and the Ocean Sleeper Plus category heading out to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

TRAVELLING BY SEA, AIR, AND RAIL For the first time, two intrepid travelers have the chance to join the most comprehensive circumnavigation of Canada ever offered. This unparalleled journey through Canada visits historic sites along Canada s East Coast, searches for thrilling polar bear and Arctic wildlife sightings, offers immersive visits to Inuit communities, takes guests through the crisp fresh air of the Rocky Mountains, and into the lively culture of Canada s metropolis all in one voyage. LABRADOR AND TORNGAT EXPLORER LOUISBOURG TO IQALUIT 24 JULY - 3 AUG 2018 REMOTE COASTAL PORTS, SOARING MOUNTAINS, RICH CULTURE AND HISTORY Visit numerous historic locations on Canada s East Coast, including a known Viking settlement, a Frenchbuilt fortress, several remote mission locations and isolated fishing ports. The journey ventures from the more temperate climate found in the Maritimes, northwards and into the higher Arctic latitudes. Subtle changes to vegetation and wildlife species can be observed and our expert guides will interpret and explain these changes throughout the journey. BAFFIN ISLAND- JEWEL OF THE HIGH ARCTIC IQALUIT TO RESOLUTE 3 AUG - 14 AUG 2018 DISCOVER THE STUNNING WILDERNESS OF CANADA S JEWEL BAFFIN ISLAND Baffin Island is one of the last great wilderness regions on the planet. We explore the wild east coast of Baffin Island, discovering the deep fjords, soaring mountains and immense glacial systems. We are constantly on the lookout for a variety of birdlife and marine wildlife - including polar bears - the icon of the north. Visits to remote Inuit communities provide a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of the people who call this remote wilderness their home. HIGH ARCTIC EXPLORER RESOLUTE TO RESOLUTE 14 AUG - 23 AUG 2018 A JOURNEY INTO THE REMOTE HEART OF THE CANADIAN ARCTIC. The journey continues as the long hours of daylight give us maximum time to explore known wildlife hot spots including one of the largest migratory bird sanctuaries in the world found on Prince Leopold Island. Along the ice floe edge we encounter beluga and bowhead whales and hope to spot the mythical narwhal. This exceptional journey takes us to the extremely high latitudes at Ellsemere Island - just 500 nautical miles from the North Pole. PATHWAYS TO FRANKLIN RESOLUTE TO CAMBRIDGE BAY 23 AUG - 1 SEPT 2018 A JOURNEY THAT UNRAVELS THE MYSTERIES OF EARLY ARCTIC EXPLORATION. We navigate our modern expedition vessel through the very same waters and contemplate the fate of early Arctic explorers. A highlight for many will be a visit to remote Beechey Island, the final resting place of several men from Sir John Franklin s ill-fated expedition in the 1840s. A new chapter in this tale was written in September 2014 when a joint government/private expedition located the final resting place of one of Franklin s two lost ships - HMS Erebus, in the frigid waters of the Victoria Strait. VIA RAIL & FAIRMONT HOTELS - VANCOUVER TO HALIFAX 4 SEPT - 17 SEPT 2018 TRAVEL IN COMFORT FROM VANCOUVER TO HALIFAX Vancouver to Jasper The Canadian Sleeper Plus Jasper to Toronto The Canadian Prestige Toronto to Montreal Business Class Montreal to Halifax The Ocean Sleeper Plus One Ocean Expeditions has chosen to offer world class accomodation on this journey with Fairmont Hotels and VIA Rail Canada to host in key cities across Southern Canada. Guests travel in comfort onboard Via Rail from Vancouver, embracing the stunning views of the majestic Canadian Rockies as they tour from Banff to Jasper National Park. A three-night stay at the luxurious Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge provides a chance to hike and explore these rugged mountains. The journey continues as guests embark on Via Rail s newest Prestige class, travelling in comfort through the timeless prairie landscapes and along the lakes of Northern Ontario, down to the bustling hub of Toronto. After a two-night stay at the Fairmont Royal York, the journey aboard Via Rail continues to Montreal, another iconic Canadian city, for two nights at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth. The final stage of the eastward journey on Via Rail s The Ocean brings you just there - right back to the beautiful oceanfront of Nova Scotia to complete the circumnavigation! Limited availability, itinerary may vary. US$55,000 p.p.
