April 2015 Editor Kathie Richmond Tech Support Frank Richmond Frichmond1@Yahoo.com Presidents Message Hello again my fellow RAMBLERS, let me start this letter by thanking the FARR' S for a wonderful RALLY in YUMA this past month. The food was great, starting off with CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE ( T WAS SAINT PATTY'S DAY don't you know ). I have always thought of THE PALMS as one the best R. V. parks in our area. The food at MI RANCHO MEXICAN REASTURANT was again very good, as always. Some of our members have left to beat our HOT SUMMER DAYS, and the APRIL RALLY will be our last one of the season so please all try to make it. Remember MAY 13th. @ GOLDEN CORRAL will be our ANNUAL MEETING, so please try to be there to say goodbye for the SUMMER to all our members. Some of us may meet up during our trek this summer, MARION and I will be in the NORTHWEST AREA, OREGON AND WASHINGTON so if you are nearby, give us a call, maybe we can meet up for a few days. Remember to take your member list with you. You never know when you may need to call one of us to help you "PARTY". Well no one has told me " WHAT GOES UP THE CHIMMNEY DOWN-- BUT WILL NOT GO DOWN THE CHIMMNEY UP " ( I have asked you for the last TWO MONTHS ) so I will tell you,--- IT IS AN " UMBERELLA "--- THINK ABOUT IT. BE GOOD TO OTHERS AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL. See you in COTTONWOOD. YOUR PREZ. March Rally Yuma Rally. We had 8 coaches in attendance. Don & Marion Lay, Chuck & Dorothy Michelsen, Rob & Shirley Crow, Don & Gladys Gilbertson, Frank & Kathryn Richmond, Jim & Janice McDaniel, Bob Faulkner and the hosts Gene & Susie Farr. The weather was so nice, although it did rain a bit one day but it cooled it down nicely. We started off the rally upon arrival on St. Patrick s Day with a Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner. That was followed off the next morning with a breakfast of Western Omelet Casseroles, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage and fruit. Afterwards we all went our own way for the day. During the course of the week some of us found our way to the mall, the casino, the Peanut Patch, Algodonas, and let s not forget the Market Place. I think everyone ended up at the Market Place sooner or later. We also found some good lunch spots. Hello CRR Members: Here are some ideas for future rallies, some in CA, and some in NV and AZ. The CA ideas are: Morro Dunes Rv Park, Morro Bay, South Woods RV Park near Santa Cruz, which is the central coast and near redwoods, Pismo Coast Village, pricey but right on the beach, Salinas area near Carmel, Pebble Beach, Boardwalk and wineries, Visalia Sequoia near National forests, and Flying Flags RV in Bueltton. The spots in Nevada that are wonderful are Lake Tahoe and Sparks. Ideas for AZ are Grand Canyon Caverns, Seligman, Show Low, Prescott, Phoenix and Tucson areas. Most of these areas are some distance away, but they would be great destinations. Contact us or Frank and Kathie for any assistance making plans. We are always trying to think of interesting and different places to experience together. We have made lots of special memories through the years, and hope that we can all continue to have fun together. Thanks for your wonderful friendships and memories. Rob and Shirley Crow We went out to a great mexican dinner as a group on Thursday night. We capped off our week with a potluck dinner on Friday night. Saturday morning was departure day so we met for a continental breakfast to say good bye until the next rally. We would like to thank those who attended this rally and would also like to thank the other hosts this year for their rallies. This will be our last rally for about a year as we will be returning home to Montana to get our house built. If you are up our way, give us a call and you can come by and see the progress. Have a safe and happy summer where ever your travels take you... Gene and Susie Farr Friendships & Daisies In the wakening of springtime Warm winds begin to blow And like true friendships Flowers begin to bloom and grow Sunshine and showers Make each blossom glow Becoming fields of daisies Blowing in the breeze With a sweet and fragrant beauty That s just as pretty as you please K Richmond
