Larry Sockwell Chapter Fair at National The NOMADs will have a table at the Chapter Fair being scheduled at the National Muster. This is an opportunity for us to showcase our activities and sign up a few new members. We can use posters, photos etc Nomads 2017 Fall Travel Plans The purpose of this section is so we can connect more easily with one another when we are traveling. Have fun! Be Safe and have a mini-muster when you can! Melody & Paul Thomas have been back home in New York for two months trying to sort out medical issues. Before we got here in July, we took time to travel upstate and visit Buffalo and Niagara Falls. If you haven't done it, a ride on the Maid of the Mist to the foot of the falls is very awe inspiring. We have been breaking in our new Vanleigh Vilano fifth wheel. We bought it in June. Paul has been busy making some modifications, including a custom built desk. We are looking forward to meeting everyone at the national muster. Larry and Ruth Cox-Crofoot have been spending time in our "home area" which is Indiana. Taking care of some medical issues for his mom, but all is good now and we are making plans. We will be camping in Iowa starting the 20th of this month, first to do some fishing and then to meet up with our FROG friends in Amana colonies for their FROGtober fest. After that we travel up to the Upper Peninsula for a week then home around mid October. We will head down to Tennessee the first of November and will meet with some

SMART members there to work on the April 2018 South Central Regional Muster. We will be wintering in Georgia again this year as camp hosts. We will check to see if there are any musters in the area we might be able to attend. Happy travels, Alice & Charlie Anderson will be departing the fall colors in New York in mid-october and look forward to seeing old and new friends alike in Rayne. Let those good times, and our RVs roll to Louisiana. See you at the pre-muster. Doug and Lila Blaha are home in Virginia until mid-october when we will head for the NOMAD Pre-Muster in Rayne. We enjoyed a great summer in Minnesota, the SMART Calgary Stampede in July and the Ohio Valley/Rocky Tops Eclipse Muster in August. Looking forward to seeing all in Rayne. Rick & Jana Nunemaker Greetings from Little Rock Arkansas!! We are working at the KOA in North Little Rock until October 31, just missing the opportunity to attend National this year. November will find us traveling to northern Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas before heading south to Arizona in December. If anyone is traveling on I-40 through Arkansas, let us know and we would love to meet for coffee or cocktails! Alice & Charlie Anderson will be departing the fall colors in New York in mid-october and look forward to seeing old and new friends alike in Rayne. Let those good times, and our RVs roll to Louisiana. See you at the pre-muster. Dick and Pat Tracy We are in Montana and headed for Rapid City, SD where I will be putting on a Reunion for the USS Firedrake AE-14 on Oct 1-5. Following that going to a Discovery motorhome rally in Shawnee, OK then time permitting we may try to get to the SMART National in Rayne if Rayne is OK after the hurricane before we take our RV to our place in Frostproof, FL to leave it for use over the winter. Don and Lucretia Beaton will be attending the Nomads pre and post rallies and National and no telling where we might head from there with all the weather problems in two of our favorite snowbird locations TX and FL. Praying for those in Florida tonight. Jeff and Nancy Stevens will be attending the S FL Gold Coasters muster at Sun N

Fun RV Resort in Sarasota from 11 to 15 Oct. We are then orchestrating a traveling muster on behalf of the Buccaneers heading to the National in Rayne. We will be staying in Old Town FL, then a couple of nights at Blue Angel FAMCAMP NAS Pensacola, then Shields FAMCAMP at the Seabee base in Gulfport MS. The actual itinerary is on the SMART website and there is still room for any Nomads in the FL/GA area who would like to join us to come along. We will be returning to home right after the National as we have the annual Buccaneer muster at the FL National Cemetery for Veterans Day. Look forward to seeing everyone at the National. Cheers.
