Join us for the 2015 Soldotna Wednesday Market Market days will be each Wednesday, starting June 3, 2015 and ending on August 26, 2015. It will be held in The Soldotna Creek Park. * Hours of operation will be from 11:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. There will also be an option to stay late for the Wednesday festival that will take place in the park later in the evening. As a vendor there will be no extra charge to stay for this but if you choose not to stay you must be gone by 6:00 pm. I will need to know ahead of time as this will affect your placement in the park. If you are interested in this option and would like more information give me a call. Vendor space is a 12x 12 space. Fees will be based on frequency of attendance and on first come basis. Preferred locations will be designated to vendors attending all 13 Wednesdays. Remaining spaces will be assigned on a first come-first serve basis. Booth rental for 1-4 Wednesdays Booth rental for 5-8 Wednesdays Booth rental for 9-13 Wednesdays 40.00 per day 30.00 per day 20.00 per day Upon completing the rental request form, we ask you to specify the dates you intend to exhibit. If you are unable to exhibit on these dates, we ask that you notify the event organizer by phone or e-mail the Thursday before; otherwise it could result in the forfeiture of your rental fee. Renter will supply own booth and full payment due upon signing of the lease agreement. If you are interested in the market but aren t able to commit to the entire season, consider partnering with other crafters or growers. To allow customers ease of access, please keep vehicles on far end of parking lot. Security In the event a vendor determines they need security they shall provide it at their own cost. Soldotna Wednesday Market will NOT be involved in incidents of theft or shoplifting other than to provide phone usage to call police. Arrival and closing Electricity At arrival of booth, please unload vehicle and move it prior to set up. At closing, please have merchandise boxed or packed and ready to move prior to bringing vehicle to load. All vehicles must be out of the market area by 9:50 a.m. and cannot return before 4:00 p.m. In the event a vendor determines the need for electricity they will have to provide a whisper quiet generator. Insurance and licenses All vendors are liable for their own insurance and licenses. This includes business licenses, sales tax and department of environmental conservation. Market time Market time will be 11:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. Vendors may start setting up their booths at 9:00 a.m. Booths need to be removed no later than 6:00p.m. Deadline for rent payment The entire balance must be paid in full at the signing of the contract. Returned checks Should the bank for any reason return a vendor s check a $30.00 fee will be charged. This fee and the face amount of check must be paid in cash, money order, or certified check to the Soldotna Wednesday Market within 5 days or prior to vendor s entry to another Soldotna Wednesday Market. 2
Opening and closing The Soldotna Wednesday Market, reserves the right to shorten any market day by minutes or hours to allow vendors to leave due to inclement weather (or for any other reason). Cancellation Clean up The Soldotna Wednesday Market may cancel the event, in which case its sole liability to vendor will be to refund the fee paid by vendor. Vendors shall remove all equipment, furniture, other property and trash from the leased space and surrounding are and shall leave the area clean. Food vendors are encouraged to provide protective covering for their lease areas to prevent grease and other containments from staining or damaging the area. Should the Soldotna Wednesday Market have to clean the area there will be a minimum charge of $100.00 per occurrence. Vendors shall be liable to Soldotna Wednesday Market for any and all costs incurred by the Soldotna Wednesday Market in cleaning or5 removing or in causing to be cleaned or removed, any substance of any kind which is left upon the leased space, or surrounding area. Change of address or telephone Vendors are responsible for insuring that the Soldotna Wednesday Market has record of their current address and telephone numbers. 3
Release and agreement not to sue Vendor releases and forever discharges Soldotna Wednesday Market, event organizer, its agents, servants, employees and contractors and their successors in the interest (hereinafter collectively referred to as Releases ) all actions, suit claims, demands and damages of every kind and nature, whether special, incidental, consequential or otherwise, nature to mature in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with the relationship created by the lease agreement between vendor and Soldotna Wednesday Market. Area or any portion thereof, or any acts, omissions, faults or negligence of Release s. Vendor agrees not to sue the Release s for any of the matters released above. In the event the vendor breaches this agreement NOT to sue, Release s shall be entitled to recover their actual reasonable attorney s fees and cost in defending against any action brought by vendor.
