PUBLIC COMMENT No public comment. CONSENT CALENDAR All matters hereunder constitute a consent calendar are considered to be routine by ISCOTT and will be acted upon by a single vote. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Committee or of the public so requests, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered as a separate item. 1. Junipero Serra Boulevard and Garfield Street - Red Zone DPT recommends a public hearing to consider the following changes: A. Rescind the tall vehicle restriction on Junipero Serra Boulevard, east side, from Garfield Street to 20 feet southerly; and B. Establish a visibility red zone on Junipero Serra Boulevard, east side, from Garfield Street to 20 feet southerly (a 20-foot zone). 2. Sloat Boulevard between Lake Shore Plaza intersection and Everglade Drive - Tall Vehicle Restriction and Red Zone DPT recommends a public hearing to consider the following changes: A. Establish a tall vehicle restriction on Sloat Boulevard, south side, from the Lake Shore Plaza traffic signal to 20 feet west of Everglade Drive; and B. Establish a Red Zone on Sloat Boulevard, south side, from Everglade Drive to 20 feet westerly. 3. Ritch and Brannan Streets - STOP Signs DPT recommends establishing STOP control on southbound Ritch at Brannan Streets, making this intersection a Two-Way STOP. ALL ITEMS REGULAR CALENDAR 1. Ellsworth Street, between Alemany Boulevard and Crescent Avenue - Various DPT recommends a public hearing to consider the following: A. Establishing a one-way northbound regulation on Ellsworth Street from Crescent Avenue to a point approximately 890 feet southerly (effectively extending the existing one-way regulation by 160 feet to the south); B. Installing speed cushions on Ellsworth Street at two locations on this block (approximately 450 feet north of Alemany Boulevard and approximately 750 feet north of Alemany Boulevard); and C. Establishing "Tow Away No Stopping Anytime" regulation on Ellsworth Street, both sides, between 70 and 100 feet south of the south property line of 755 Ellsworth Street in conjunction with the construction of a traffic calming choker. 3. Monterey Boulevard and Congo Street - STOP Signs DPT recommends stopping Monterey Boulevard at Congo Street, making this intersection an All-Way STOP. 4. San Bruno Avenue at Felton Street - STOP Signs DPT recommends STOP signs stopping San Bruno Avenue at Felton Street, making this intersection an all-way STOP. 5. Cole and Haight Streets - STOP Signs DPT requests ISCOTT review of Board of Supervisors Resolution to install STOP signs stopping eastbound Haight Street at Cole Street. DPT recommends: A. Stopping both directions of Haight Street at the west T-intersection with Cole Street (south leg); and B. Erasing painted crosswalk crossing Haight Street at the east T-intersection with Cole Street (north leg) to encourage pedestrian crossings at new STOP sign. 6. Jackson and Leavenworth Streets - STOP Signs DPT recommends establishing a STOP sign on Jackson Street, westbound, making this intersection an All-Way STOP. 7. 1400 block of Castro Street, between Jersey and 25th Streets - Angle Parking DPT recommends holding a public hearing to consider permanent legislation establishing 45-degree angle parking on Castro Street, east side, between Jersey and 25th Streets. 8. Van Ness Avenue at Bay Street - Right Lane Must Turn Right Rescind DPT recommends rescinding the Right Lane Must Turn Right Except Muni restriction on southbound Van Ness Avenue at Bay Street. 9. 9th and Howard Streets - Multiple Turn Lanes DPT recommends a public hearing to consider the following: A. Rescind "Tow-Away No Stopping, 4 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday" on Howard Street, north side, from 9th Street to 200 feet easterly; B. Establish "Tow-Away No Stopping Anytime" on Howard Street, north side, from 9th Street to 200 feet easterly; C. Rescind "Multiple Right Turn Lanes" and establish "Right Lane Must Turn Right" on westbound Howard at 9th Street; and D. Establish Bicycle Lane on Howard Street between 9th Street and 200 feet easterly. HOLD. 10. Stockton Street, both sides, Broadway to Washington Street Tow Away No Stopping DPW presents a proposal for a public hearing to establish Tow-Away, No Stopping 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Everyday on Stockton Street, both sides, between Broadway and Washington Street. After considerable discussion, ISCOTT recommended increased enforcement and consideration to raise the fines for parking violation in this area. 11. South Van Ness Avenue at Market Street - Tow-Away Rescind DPT recommends rescinding "Tow-Away No Stopping Anytime" on South Van Ness Avenue, east side, from 92 to 122 feet south of Market Street. 12. Tunnel Avenue between Lathrop and Visitation Avenues - Weight Restriction DPT recommends amending Section 28.2 of the San Francisco Traffic Code to extend 9-ton weight restriction on Tunnel Road from Lathrop Avenue to Visitation Avenue.
