Embraer Legacy 600/650 Training Program Highlights FlightSafety and Embraer work closely together to develop new training programs, update existing courses and determine the timing and locations of training devices and equipment needed to support Embraer aircraft operators. This close working relationship enhances standards and safety. Together FlightSafety and Embraer have created a great partnership. FlightSafety is the preferred authorized trainer for the Embraer 145 Legacy series. Our St. Louis and Paris-Le Bourget Learning Centers operate the world s only Legacy 650 simulators. The Legacy 650 simulators in St. Louis and Paris offer VNAV, charts and maps, FANS 1/A and RAAS. Customized training programs are available to meet specific training needs. We have incorporated Graphical Flight-deck Simulator (GFS) training into the Legacy program. The GFS leverages our exclusive MATRIX system technology, providing real-time and interactive simulation during ground training that is proven to enhance your overall learning experience. CPDLC elearning course is available for Legacy 650. A wide variety of specialty and enrichment training is available through our elearning and LiveLearning courses. FlightBag, our second-generation training materials app, allows you to download complete training materials and access them wherever you are from any device. Materials are updated automatically as new information becomes available, yet it keeps all of your previous notes. Operators training in Houston receive training conducted in an EMB145 simulator with Legacy 600 differences.

EMB135BJ 650 with EMB135BJ 600 differences St. Louis and Paris-Le Bourget Learning Centers EMB135BJ 650 with EMB145 differences St. Louis and Paris-Le Bourget Learning Centers Type Rating Prerequisites As a minimum, pilots must hold a private pilot or commercial pilot certificate, a multi engine and instrument rating with 1,000 hours total time for the EMB 145 Type Rating. Simulator Training Both Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring time is available if training as a crew. The total simulator hours in an Initial course will be 28, in a Prior Experience course 16 hours, and in a Recurrent course 12 hours, and, when training as a crew. Prior Experience This course is designed for pilots who are seeking an additional type rating or the addition of an ATP. Pilots must meet the type rating prerequisites below. All Prior Experience Courses are scheduled on request. A pilot may enroll in this curriculum if he/she: Is currently serving as an SIC in the aircraft, and has completed an initial course; or Has accumulated at least 100 hours as a pilot in the aircraft; and Has a minimum of 1,000 hours flight experience in airplanes as a pilot Second Crewmember Rate Pilot training that requires FlightSafety to provide a second crewmember will be charged an additional hourly rate per simulator hour.
