Dubrovnik - Split - Zadar - Zagreb 5 days / 4 nights Day 1. Arrival in Dubrovnik, transfer from the airport to your hotel. Dinner and overnight. Day 2. DUBROVNIK - SPLIT After breakfast, a guided stroll around the Old City visiting the Franciscan Monastery, Rector s Palace and the Cathedral. You ll also have some time to explore the City on your own after which we head towards Split. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 4. ZADAR - ZAGREB Breakfast. After the short city tour we head towards Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. After the check-in, city tour of Zagreb including the Upper Town, historical centre of the city, Church of St. Mark with the famed multicoloured roof, Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre and University. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 5. After breakfast, transfer to the Zagreb airport. ZAGREB Day 3. SPLIT - TROGIR - ZADAR Morning guided tour of Split. Located in the centre of the Dalmatian coast and nestled between the mountains and the sea, Split is a picturesque ancient town built by the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Visit the impressive emperor s palace built in the 3rd century, Peristyle and the Cathedral. The journey then takes us to Trogir, a charming stone town under the protection of UNESCO, which takes pride in the fascinating Romanesque cathedral, churches and beautiful palaces. After the short sightseeing of this Dalmatian pearl we continue on towards Zadar. Arrival at the hotel. Dinner and overnight. DUBROVNIK Arrival in Dubrovnik, dinner and overnight at the hotel in Dubrovnik. Day 2. DUBROVNIK CETINJE Morning, join a HD sightseeing of Dubrovnik. The walls of Dubrovnik girdle a perfectly preserved complex of public and private, sacral and secular buildings representing all periods of the city s history, beginning with its founding in the 7th century. Particular mention should be made of the city s main street, Stradun, the Rector s Palace, the church of St. Vlaho, the Cathedral, three large monasteries and the City Hall. In the afternoon departure for Cetinje. Upon arrival visit of town with two of the most representative buildings: the Monasteries of Cetinje and Biljarda. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Cetinje. Day 3. CETINJE BUDVA TIRANA Departure for Budva and Saint Stefan. Apart for being famous for near by St. Stefan s island, the Old town of Budva, which lies on a small peninsula, is known as a treasure chest of culture heritage with its narrow streets and squares are famous buildings and churches. In the afternoon proceed for Tirana, the capital of Albania. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Tirana. Day 4. TIRANA OHRID Morning sightseeing of Tirana - Albania s capital since 1920. It lies almost exactly midway between Rome and Istanbul, and its architecture has been influenced by both, as well as by Russia. The city tour of Tirana begins at Skenderberg Square, a great open space in the heart of the city. The most of sights are situated near by Main Square, such as National History Museum, Mausoleum of former President Enver Hoxha, Palace of Culture, and the Mosque Et hem Bey, Clock tower. Visit The Stone bridge, Daut-Pashin hamam (Turkish bath), Feudal tower, Isa - Bey s mosque, Mustafa - Pasha mosque, Old Skopje bazaar (market place), fortress Skopsko Kale, St. Nikita Monastery, St. Spas church. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Skopje. Day 7. SKOPJE VRANJAČKA BANJA After breakfast, departure to Vrnjačka Banja, famous Serbian spa and highly developed tourist destination. On the way to Vrnjačka Banja visit of Monastery Žiča (founded by the Serbian King Stefan the First-Crowned at the beginning of the 13th century), and Studenica (founded by Stefan Nemanja, who took monastic orders there choosing the name Simeon) which is considered to be the crowning achievement of mediaeval culture and art in Serbia. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Vrnjačka Banja. Day 8. VRANJAČKA BANJA KRUŠEVAC BEOGRAD Travel to Kruševac. Kruševac was founded in late 14th century as the capital city of Prince Lazar s Serbia, and soon became its military, cultural and economical center. Visit to Monastery Ljubostina on the way to Kruševac. After visit of Kruševac, afternoon departure to Beograd, the capital of Serbia. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Beograd. Day 9. BEOGRAD Morning HD sightseeing of Belgrade. The Capital of Serbia is situated on the mouth of river Sava into Danube. We visit various city quarters, including New Belgrade on the left bank of the Sava River, the luxurious residential area of Dedinje and the picturesque Old town. Between these visits we will pass en route St. Sava Church, Slavija Square, Belgrade Palace, the New Court, City hall, the Federal Parliament, Terazije street, the National Theatre, the National Museum, University and more. A highlight of the tour is our brief visit to the archaeological and historical site of Belgrade Fortress. Situated at Kalemegdan, the remains of the old city s fortify captions from the 1st to the 18th centuries overlook a spectacular panoramic view of the Sava and Danube confluence. Afternoon free for leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Belgrade. Day 10. BEOGRAD SARAJEVO Continue through Pannonia lowland to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Drive through Drina river valley to cross the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 13

Upon arrival, sightseeing of Sarajevo, the city which has a rich and fascinating culture, which has been home to Muslims, Croats, Turks, Jews and Serbs. SARAJEVO MOSTAR DUBROVNIK On the way to Dubrovnik, drive through beautiful Neretva Valley and visit Mostar. Situated between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik, Mostar is the main centre of Herzegovina and was founded by the Turks in the 15th century. During sightseeing explore the UNESCO protected Old town, once the centre of the city s Islamic culture and visit Mostar s famous 14th century Bridge which was destroyed in 1566 and painstakingly rebuilt. This town and port on the Danube is famous for the heroic battle in the Patriotic War and, unfortunately, unprecedented devastation to which the town was exposed over the months. Among a number of attractive buildings, severely damaged in the recent war, the most interesting are the castle of the Eltz family (18th c.), Baroque buildings in the centre of the town, the Franciscan Monastery, the parish church of St. James, the Orthodox church of St. Nicholas, etc. Proceed for Beograd. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 5. BEOGRAD NOVI SAD BEOGRAD Half day city tour of Beograd, the capital of ex- Yugoslavia and present capital of Serbia. The city s main attractions include the imposing Kalemegdan Fortress, dramatically situated at the joining of the Sava and Danube rivers, Republic Square and Knez Mihajlova Street, Saint Sava Temple, the largest Orthodox Church in the city and Tito s Memorial. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 6. BEOGRAD SARAJEVO After breakfast, departure for Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Sarajevo has a rich and fascinating culture, which has been home to Muslims, Croats, Turks, Jews and Serbs. Day 7. SARAJEVO MOSTAR SARAJEVO We continue for Mostar, town situated in the valley of the river Neretva. It is known for the famous Old Stone Bridge from the 16th century with the unique arch. This beautiful piece of art was demolished in the last war but its reconstruction was completed in 2004. Optional visit of Medugorje. In the afternoon return to Sarajevo. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 8. SARAJEVO NIKŠIĆ PODGORICA After breakfast, departure for Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. On the way to Podgorica, a short stop in Nikšić - town of rich cultural and historical inheritance. Town kept name given by Montenegro king Nikola who build his palace there. Journey continues to Podgorica. This city lies on 4 rivers: Zeta, Moraca, Ribnica, Cijevna and Sitnica. On the way to the most famous Croatian city, Budva and Kotor will be visited. Apart for being famous for near by St. Stefan s island, the Old town of Budva, which lies on a small peninsula, is known as a treasure chest of culture heritage with its narrow streets and squares are famous buildings and churches. Kotor, a city of traders and famous sailors, is situated in Boka Kotorska bay. Medieval architecture and numerous monuments of cultural heritage have made Kotor a UNESCO listed World Natural and Historical Heritage Site. Through the entire city the buildings are criss-crossed with narrow streets and squares. One of these squares contains the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon (Sveti Tripun), a monument of 17

DUBROVNIK After breakfast, a city tour of Dubrovnik, the Pearl of Adriatic. We continue to Pazin, situated in he very heart of Istria, to visit the church of St. Nicolas housing the remarkable frescoes paintings (15th century). We will enjoy the view of the impressive Pazin Cave and Castle, the best preserved mediaeval fortress in Istria, where Jules Verne set a large part of the plot his novel Mathias Sandorf.
