DAY 1: 16 SEP - BEIJING ARRIVAL Upon arriving at Beijing International Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide and then transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and get ready for a Meet and Greet dinner for friends from all over the world 14 days of fun together! Then explore the incredible Forbidden City with its best-preserved imperial palace complex. Later visit the Chinese Herbal Institute to learn about traditional Chinese medicine. After all this walking, get to enjoy a rejuvenating foot massage which has existed for thousands of years. Explore Hutong, the old town of Beijing on man-powered pedicab to experience how natives live in their traditional lifestyle. Step into one of the local Siheyuan courtyard housesto learn how to make Chinese dumplings and enjoy a real typical homemade lunch. End the day with a walk around the Lotus Market. Transfer to Suzhou, 2 hours, depending on the traffic by bus. The city, dates back to 514 BC, sometimes called the "Venice of the East". Lunch will be in the beautiful setting of Lanli Garden, where you could treasure the history of the exotic silk embroidery. Visit the Garden of Master of the Nets one of the top 4 Classical Gardens in the whole country, the most delicate landscaped garden in Suzhou. A visit to Shantang street, a very old well preserved walkway that will take you back thousands of years!
A Boat ride on the Grand Canal, after which we have dinner close to the bustle of this place to flavour the whole ambience. DAY 5: 20 SEP - SUZHOU -WUXI Today you will visit one of the oldest Silk Spinning Factory to enjoy the demonstration of silk making, after which we will have lunch and go to Wuxi. Wuxi is an ancient city richly endowed with nature due to its pleasantly warm and moist climate it boasts a reputation of being called the Land of Fish and Rice. A Visit to theyixingteapotmuseum, a must see in Wuxi. These teapots are well known all over China for their elegant design and unique tea brewing qualities. DAY 6: 21 SEP - WUXI-HANGZHOU 3 HOUR BUS RIDE After breakfast, enjoy the scenery as we pass by LakeTai, the third-largest freshwater lake in China. Visit thelihu Park, and the largest Fresh Water Pearl Center. After lunch we drive to Hangzhou, one of the six ancient capital cities, the hometown for green tea and Ali Baba! Take a painted boat on West Lake- the most famous attraction in Hangzhou. DAY 7: 22 SEP - HANGZHOU-SHANGHAI After breakfast, morning starts with an educational stop for a taste of Dragon Well Tea at the Longjing Green Tea village. From Hangzhou, drive back to Shanghai (3 Hours), the largest city by population in China. Appreciate the scenery by walking alongthe Bund, a mile-long stretch along the Huangpu River. This area is the best place to capture the western influence of the Anglo French, since the 1920 s. After dinner we take a Cruise on the Huangpu River. While on the cruise, you can see the old and new side of Shanghai and also get an outside view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, the modern symbol of Shanghai City. DAY 8: 23 SEP -SHANGHAI After Breakfast we visit the Peoples Square which used to be the horse race track under the British. We visit the Shanghai museum one of the 24 best Museums in the world! Wu Gorge is the most attractive gorge famous for forest-covered sheer cliffs and 12 peaks. Xiling Gorge is the first gorge you will pass through and it is the longest and the deepest among the three.
