unmatched leadership PROPELLING THE NEXT CONNECTION

ATR AT A GLANCE Created in 1981, ATR is a European joint venture formed by Airbus Group and Leonardo. MORE THAN 1,500 AIRCRAFT SOLD TO MORE THAN 200 OPERATORS IN NEARLY 100 COUNTRIES. This high-level partnership resulted in the production of the most cost-effective family of short-haul aircraft: the ATR 42 and ATR 72. Its pioneering design is a high-wing, twin turboprop aircraft designed from the outset to provide optimum efficiency, operating flexibility and passenger comfort. Today, ATR has become the reference for regional aircraft having sold more than 1,500 aircraft to more than 200 operators in nearly 100 countries. With solid track records of about 28 million flight hours and a reliability of 99.7%, ATR is now the leader in the regional transport world: every eight seconds, an ATR takes off or lands somewhere around the world. The phenomenal success of the ATR family can be attributed to a combination of exceptional innovation, comfort and a low environmental footprint. The latest generation of ATR turboprop aircraft, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, opens up new horizons to regional airlines worldwide by offering a profitable solution and optimum performance with the lowest fuel consumption, outstanding reliability, premium passenger comfort, easy maintenance and high economic efficiency. This success, inspired by a continuous product improvement policy, is also due to the talent within a company which has always been driven by passion and motivation.

Aircraft performance Enhancement for cost-efficiency Technology upgrades for maximum reliability, maintainability and safety Comfort and ergonomic design for passenger satisfaction CONTINUOUS INNOVATION Through continuous innovation, the ATR aircraft family has evolved to the point that its average engine power rating has increased by more than a third, while maintaining the lowest fuel consumption in its category. Noise levels have also been reduced by over 10%, meeting ICAO international rules. Cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, an extensive use of composite materials on the primary structure and high-tech engines and propellers have contributed to ATR s operational excellence and make us the preferred choice of regional airlines. ATR s focus on anticipating market changes and customer expectations has led to the development of the brand new series: ATR-600. The ATR -600 series benefits from the latest innovations in the cockpit in terms of a new avionic suite and a new glass cockpit with simplified, integrated LCD advanced functions, enhancing safety, improving handling for pilots, reducing maintenance costs and significantly reducing weight.

ATR HAS BUILT UP ITS LEADERSHIP POSITION OVER THE YEARS THROUGH TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION.

Widest cabin in the turboprop market: Maximum passenger space, more luggage room Led lighting: high efficiency and reliability, much longer life In-flight entertainment (IFE) system THE MOST COMFORTABLE REGIONAL AIRCRAFT Since their early design, ATRs feature the widest cabin space of any regional aircraft. ATR continues to offer an essential sense of space and an unrivalled level of comfort. Reducing noise levels in the cabin is another key reason behind the success of modern turboprops. Through its advanced acoustic treatment supported by anti-vibration structural improvement and the introduction of 6-blade propellers, ATR provides passengers with a travel experience that is as quiet as on a mainline jetliner. ATR s cooperation with Italian designer GIUGIARO also brings the latest comfort and design features to its new ARMONIA cabin. The storage capacity of the overhead lockers has been enhanced significantly with 10% more volume and the new seats offer more leg room and overall passenger comfort. The LED lighting system creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere to make your flight a unique experience. These major improvements including our new Passenger Service Unit (PSU) and Cabin Management System (CMS) have taken turboprops into a new perception era, making them the most popular aircraft for regional carriers.

A MAJOR FEATURE OF THE ATRs IS THEIR HIGH STANDARD OF PASSENGER COMFORT.

Lowest CO 2 emissions 40% less fuel than a Regional Jet of the same category on short distances Low level of external noise, 9 db margin to ICAO chapter 14 THE LOWEST FOOTPRINT IN ITS CATEGORY. THE LOWEST ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT In tomorrow s world, travellers will place an ever-increasing emphasis on their environmental footprint. Air transportation has become a major tool for economic and social development, particularly in situations in which natural barriers and distances hinder such exchanges. Our choice to promote the turboprop solution is a way of reconciling these two issues. The high-tech engines and propellers equipping ATR aircraft ensure unequalled fuel efficiency and a remarkably low noise signature, thus securing exceptional environmental performance. By producing aircraft with the lowest emission per passenger, ATR provides the perfect solution for countries to develop their air transport network in a sustainable way. Moreover, ATR and its partners are wholly committed to international Research and Project Development. The Clean Sky Project JTI (Joint Technology Initiative) in the framework of ACARE goals (lowering gaseous emissions and noise), is the perfect example to illustrate this commitment. As ATR holds ISO 14001 certification for the full life cycle of the aircraft, the company has a keen sense of environmental responsibility and is committed to promoting sustainable aviation by minimizing the environmental impact of the delivered products and services.
