WELCOME CENTER PREPARING YOURSELF FOR SATSANG Upon arriving at the hotel to participate in Satsang, you will complete a form at the Welcome Center before proceeding to the Satsang Hall. If you have questions or concerns, you will find a team of volunteers to address them at the Welcome Center. HOTEL RECEPTION If you reserve a room at the hotel, head over to the hotel s reception to check-in. Hotel staff will be ready to help you get set up. Rooms will be chosen when you make your reservation. Switching rooms requires a lot of effort and impacts the entire organizational process. Because of this, we kindly ask that you only ask to make a change if it is truly necessary. Mobile Phones: Inside the hall, the use of mobile phones is prohibited; they interfere with our sound system. Please put your phone in airplane mode or turn it off completely before entering the Satsang hall, including during the music that takes place before and after Satsang. Images: Photography, filming and/or recording inside the hall during the Satsang is not allowed. We have professional teams for this and content is regularly made available online through the Sri Prem Baba and Awaken LOVE channels. Thank you for your understanding. Approaching Sri Prem Baba: We kindly ask you to only approach Sri Prem Baba if and when you are specifically asked to do so or when he opens for pranam. Silence: It is important that the hall remains silent both before and after Satsang. Objects for blessing: There is a basket next to Sri Prem Baba s chair in which you can place small objects for him to bless. It is important that you leave the objects there before Satsang starts and collect them only after the five minutes of silence that follow his departure from the hall. hall. If you forget something, check the Lost and Found box in the Welcome Center. We are not responsible for lost items. Punctuality: Please be attentive and arrive at the designated time for all activities. If you arrive late, try to enter as silently as you can. During the Satsangs (public talks given by Sri Prem Baba) and meditations, lying down in the hall is not permitted. Shoes are not permitted inside the Satsang hall. At the hall entrance there is a designated area for you to leave them. For your comfort, we suggest that you bring socks. Personal items: Please be sure to collect all your personal belongings before leaving the

WHAT IS SATSANG? WHAT IS PRANAM? SELF-RESPONSABILITY Sat means truth and Sanga means meeting. Satsang is a meeting with the truth. During this meeting, seekers receive teachings and blessings from the guru through his words and presence. The master opens the book of life and turns the page again and again to respond to questions the seekers send, speaking on a variety of topics. At the beginning and end of Satsang, musicians help to synchronize the seekers hearts with the guru s heart. Satsang is an experience that goes beyond words and works primarily through silence. Pranam is an act of reverence from the hindu tradition wherein the seeker brings their head down to the Master s feet. By doing so, the seeker is filled with the Shakti energy that comes from the guru s feet. Prem Baba teaches us that the deepest meaning of pranam is surrendering the ego. He says, By bringing our head down to the Master s feet, we surrender our ego to the Master s feet. All participants assume full responsibility for their own health, loss or damage of all personal objects and/or valuables during their time at the hotel. The use of tobacco, alcohol or drugs are not permitted in any part of the hotel. Candles and incense: Please do not leave candles or incense burning in hotel rooms. Hotel items: Kindly do not bring utensils, dishes, cushions or other hotel items from the Satsang Hall or the restaurants to your room. The organization reserves the right to ask participants to leave the Hall and/or the hotel premises in the case of inappropriate behavior or non-compliance with the rules.

DAILY SCHEDULE 7:00 AM Arti e Kirtans 10:30 AM Satsang 5:00 PM Yoga/Bodyworks 06:00 PM Arti and Kirtans 10:00 PM Bedtime Throughout the season, our daily routine will include: Satsangs, Aarti, Kirtans (singing mantras), yoga, meditation, volunteer service and much more. MEALS CHILDREN WHAT SHOULD I BRING? Meals are lacto-vegetarian with vegan and gluten-free options. We cannot accommodate special diet requests. If you would like to stay at the Hotel for the day and have your meals there, you are welcome to purchase them directly from reception or from either the pool restaurant or the Café. For guests who stay on-site, all meals are included. Children are welcome to come to the Season with the understanding that they are their parents responsibility at all time. Satsang and other meditative activities require a space of absolute silence. Only infants and children over 10 years should attend; they must be accompanied at all times and remain silent in order to stay in the hall. Beyond that, children can accompany their parents in the open areas around the hotel. Important: Children under 12 years must be accompanied by and are entirely the responsibility of at least one of their parents throughout their time at the hotel. Comfortable clothes: It s best if you are able to be comfortable and enjoy silence and other activities without distraction. Please avoid short dresses, skirts and shorts and low-cut styles. A water bottle to refill. We will avoid creating trash as much as possible. Cushion or floor chair (backjack, etc.) to use in the meditation hall. Personal hygeine items such as toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.. If you are bothered by insects, we suggest a natural repellent. As it will be Autumn, we suggest you prepare for it to be relatively hot during the day (up to 22 degrees) and chilly at night (as low as 18 degrees); bring jackets, socks, and shawls or scarves to keep yourself comfortable in the hall.
