Language The official language of the Workshop will be English. No simultaneous translation will be provided. Passport and Visas All non-residents of Argentine are required to have a valid passport. Participants should check regarding visa requirements for travel to Argentina. Applications should be made to the nearest Argentinian Embassy or Consulate as soon as possible. Workshop Venue The Faculty of Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Science is a splendid and well suited ven for International Conferences. The Faculty will host the 1st Argentinean Workshop at Rosa Environmental Science Sessions.

Dear Colleagues, It is my great honor and pleasure to invite you cordially to participate in the 1st Argentinean Workshop in Environmental Science at Rosario, which will be held in Rosario starting on 23th to 25th of November 2009. The workshop focuses on the frontiers of all aspects of Environmental Science. Younger and more experienced scientists chosen in a good balance meet to present and discuss all aspects of environmental science, opening up possibilities of engaging in meaningful collaborations at regional and global levels. We invite you to submit an abstract for both oral and poster presentation. LOCATION The scientific sessions of the Conference will be held at the North Assembly Room of the Main Hall at the University at Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Rosario and Conference Venue Rosario is a main city of Santa Fe Province, has a population of more of 1.000.000 people, and is located on the south of the Province. Rosario is located on the near side of the big Parana River The city production includes agro-industry, cellulose and paper. The Conference will be held at the Convention Center of the National University at Rosario, which is located on Rosario s downtown. Climate - Attire The period of the Conference falls at the beginning of a subtropical Spring with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 12-15 ºC at night to 20-25 ºC in the daytime. Summer clothing and light warm clothing are recommended. Parana River is at the side site of Rosario s downtown, the water is warm enough for swimming, so bring your swimwear and sunscreen. Dress during the Conference is informal (including dinner and mixer).
Visas Applications should be made at least three months in advance. Please remember that visas are granted on a reciprocal basis for each country. The Conference Secretary can provide on request a letter that describes the conference and certifies an attendee's participation. Language The official language of the Conference will be English. Currency The Argentinian currency is the ($). The mean exchange rate in May, 2009 was one US$ per $3.50. Major credit cards are accepted for payment in nearly all hotels, restaurants and shops. Letter of Invitation On request, the Conference Secretary will be happy to send a personal invitation to participation in the Congress. It should be understood that the sole purpose of this invitation is to help participants to raise travel funds in their own countries.
