About the forum Now in its fifth year, the annual Metro North Health Forum hosted by Metro North Hospital and Health Service and Brisbane North PHN will be held on 19 June 2018 at the Royal International Convention Centre in Bowen Hills. Focused on Connecting for the future, the forum will build on our history of partnership. It will connect and engage providers and consumers in driving a reform agenda across; healthcare for older people, mental health, alcohol and other drugs and the interface between hospital and primary care. It will highlight a range of initiatives underway between Metro North Hospital and Health Service and Brisbane North PHN that aim to connect and coordinate healthcare. The forum is a well-regarded networking opportunity, bringing together people working in health and community services, health consumers and community groups. In 2018, the forum will also feature an exhibition of local for-profit and not-for-profit health related organisations. Attendee profile The forum is expected to attract over 300 attendees including: health professionals health and community service providers non-government organisations consumer organisations professional associations. Satchel insert (Limited opportunities) $250.00 The Metro North Health Forum will provide each attendee with a forum satchel. Placing an insert in the satchel is a great way to promote your organisation. One promotional item may be included in forum satchels. Promotional item is subject to approval. Inserts can include DL size items, A4 brochures or promotional items (e.g. pen or stress ball). Page 4
Exhibition opportunities Important initiatives have been put in place to ensure that all exhibitors have access to as many attendees as possible for the duration of the event. The exhibition has been designed from the outset to be an integral component of the forum, maximising exhibitor exposure. The exhibition area is located adjacent to the plenary sessions and across the hall from the concurrent sessions. Arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and forum drinks will be served to delegates exclusively in the exhibition area. Service points will be strategically situated and opened in sequence to ensure attendees are spread throughout the entire area as much as possible. The exhibitor s package includes catering for one (1) representative and you can register additional persons as outlined in the exhibitor staff registration section below. Exhibitor staff registrations One (1) exhibitor staff registration is included with each exhibition space. Additional packs will be available for purchase (order forms will be included in the exhibitors manual) at a cost of $125.00 per person and includes: name tag and forum satchel arrival tea and coffee, morning tea, lunch and forum drinks forum handbook access to forum sessions. Terms and conditions 1. Areas shall be allocated strictly on a first-in basis. Areas shall only be allocated and participation in the exhibition confirmed upon receipt of payment. 2. Exhibitors are authorised to partner with other organisations to share exhibition space, however, we will only contract with one organisation. The organisers reserve the right to alter the design, location and specification of the exhibition as circumstances may require. 3. The organisers, exhibition venue and their agents accept no responsibility whatsoever for any injury, harm, damage and/or loss (property or other) suffered by any exhibitor, their staff and/or agents, visitors, participants or delegates in connection with the forum and/or trade exhibition. Exhibitors are required to organise their own insurance to cover these and any other risks. Exhibitors must provide a certificate of currency for relevant insurance upon request. 4. Exhibitors shall be liable for any damage, injury, harm and/or loss caused by them, their staff, contractors, subcontractors, agents and/or any affiliated party. 5. In the event of an organisation cancelling their participation in the exhibition, a full refund will be made available if written advice to danielle.francisco@brisbanenorthphn.org.au is received prior to Tuesday 22 May 2018. No refunds will be issued after this date. 6. Exhibitors agree to comply with the exhibition schedule and other operational instructions and directions as may be made by the organisers. 7. The organisers make no warranty as to the number of delegates and/or visitors that may attend the exhibition and/or the associated forum. 8.
