We have a great destination in a country setting that can surely lead to many memories. However, we are still a business that needs to cover an array of expenses so that we can continue to provide and improve this setting for many years to come. In order to be fair to all groups visiting our farm, we use the following guidelines. For any guests and groups not choosing to rent group facilities: Carry-in food, cakes, decorations, wrapped presents, games, activities, furniture, and entertainers are not allowed (carry-in cake passes available for $10). No lit candles may be used outside of designated rented areas. We offer a wide range of food and activities available for purchase by your group. Depending on your group size, you may be eligible for some discounts on certain products. Our picnic tables and seating areas are reserved for single family use during peak times. We do not allow tables to be moved, pushed together, reserved, or used by groups for longer than 1/2 hour. For ALL guests on our farm, please keep in mind: E-cigarettes and tobacco products of any kind are not permitted anywhere on our farm to maintain our family friendly atmosphere and for the safety of all guests. Alcohol is only permitted for groups in approved facilities with a signed agreement. Guests wishing to smoke may do so only in their closed vehicle. (Please understand that smoking is a fire hazard with dry crops on our farm and standing in the road to smoke is a fire hazard.) You are responsible for the actions of all guests in your group. Please provide QUALITY supervision for all children in your group at all times. Please be respective of opening and closing times. Help inform your guests in advance of our closing times and ensure they are leaving our driveway by closing time. For guest renting facilities: Paints, glue, and glitter are not permitted. If performing other crafts please keep in mind that if you damage the tables or facilities you will be charged. No tape may be used on metal walls. No flames are allowed on our farm. Birthday candles may only be used in designated areas under adult supervision. Power strips or outlet expanders are not permitted. Please straighten your area at the conclusion of your event. Facilities requiring more than 10 minutes of cleaning after your use will incur additional fees. Any activities not available to the general public are not permitted outside of your designated area and rental time. We welcome you to shop, play on the playground, or take in our other general public activities at anytime during business hours. Caterers must be approved prior to the event. Full facility payment must be paid at time of reservation, and dates will not be held without payment. Fee does not include tax. Alcohol is only allowed on our farm in certain rental areas and provided that an alcohol agreement is signed. Please recognize that we are an outdoor venue and weather can be a factor, especially in October. Cancellations may not be made due to temperature without forfeiting deposit. Rescheduling or deposit refunds are at the sole discretion of Skelly's during rainy weather and will be made in the form of a gift certificate. Group pricing is available for select food and tickets and is available regardless of facility rental.
Facility Rental Options Labor Day Through Halloween Groups visiting Skelly's have an array of personalized options. We have designated special private group areas that give you some separation from the general public to enjoy time to relax or enjoy food. If you rent a facility you are also eligible to bring in food, cakes, decorations, wrapped presents, and small activities within your area. Grandpa Skelly's Party Barn This quaint private barn is perfect for a small group of people at three picnic tables and measures 24 ft by 31 ft. With two large sliding doors it provides great airflow on a warm summer day with the ability to be a fully enclosed area. It sits semi-private from the most heavily traveled areas of our farm. It overlooks the front of our farm and can be rented in conjunction with the Creek-Side Park providing a beautiful, spacious, and mostly shaded setting. Labor Day - October 31 (see summer packet for summer information) $100, book by October 1st and get $25 off any slot except weekend afternoons Capacity: 24-30 people Included extras: 3 picnic tables (6-8 people per table), one serving table, 2 power outlet (4 connections), 1 garbage can, 2 barn side parking spaces Other notes: Handicap accessible, convenient yet private location, no extension cords included, limit of 3 power accessories (no power strips allowed), barn is NOT heated & portable heaters not allowed The Creek-Side Park This gorgeous area includes a moderate grassy hill leading down to Markham Creek with enough flat space for a few picnic tables along the bubbling creek. 100 year-old maple trees dot the area providing the perfect amount of shade on a warm fall day. Cross the footbridge and enjoy the grassy flat and mostly open area that is perfect for games, activities, additional seating, other 3rd party products such as a large tents, bounce houses, catering and more. Both sides of the creek encompass almost an acre of area exclusive to your group. $60 full area Capacity: 40-100+ people All Seasons Included extras: 4 large picnic tables (10 people per table) (extra available in advance for $15 each), 2 garbage cans, convenient vehicle unloading area Other notes: Not easily handicap accessible (grassy, bottom of medium-small hill), located in private area of farm along a beautiful creek, no power, no structures or protection included.
West Farm Package: Party Barn and Creek-Side Park 2713 Hayner Road Combine two areas for a truly awesome area. The Party Barn flows right into the Creek-Side Park. Use the Party Barn to setup the food line for your picnic. Have picnic tables along the creek in the Creek-Side park. Guests can bring their own chairs for extra casual seating, or rent extra tables. Use the setting that the Skelly family has used for years for their family reunions! The Party Barn and Creek-Side Park includes almost 1 acre of space to spread out. $150 Capacity: 100+ people All Seasons Includes: 6 picnic tables (3 hold 10 people per table, 3 others hold 8 people per table), 2 garbage cans Other notes: This area only has protection for approximately 30 people during inclement weather. Rental tents are allowed. The Machine Shed Pavilion Bay This area provides a covered lean-to area with walls on two sides. This area has great access to our playground and other nearby activities. This area connects to general public areas of our pavilion, but this private area is separated off and marked. September 15th-October 31 (see summer packet for summer information) Saturdays & Sundays: 9am-1pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm $90, book by October 1st and get $20 off any slot except weekend afternoons Capacity: 24-30 people Included extras: 3 picnic table (6-8 people per table), one serving table, 1 power outlet (2 connections), 1 garbage can Other notes: Handicap accessible, located within sight of playground, south side is open to the weather. Please note that this is only one bay of a larger pavilion. Carry-In Birthday Cake Pass Small groups not renting a facility may purchase a carry-in birthday cake waiver for $10. No other carry-in food/beverage is allowed, but we offer a number of items available for purchase. You must provide your own plates, utensils, napkins, and cleanup. No reserved area, facilities, or anything else is included in this fee. This fee exists to provide fairness to other groups who must rent facilities for carry-in food and to help cover our waste disposal fees. Unfortunately we cannot allow lit birthday candles on cake pass cakes due to fire hazards. All other rules for groups not renting facilities apply.
