PICK ME UP SERVICE UPADTE No of TRIPS 17 A record 9930 Trips was recorded for the 2016/17 financial year. PICK ME UP SERVICE COSTS The Foundation continues to be conscious about its costs structure and the importance of becoming more productive,efficient and sustainable. EVENTS GOVERNORS RECEPTION APRIL 2017 The Foundation was fortunate enough to be hosted by the Governor of NSW His Excellency General David Hurly and his wife Mrs Linda Hurley at this years annual Governors Reception at beautiful Government House Sydney. In the presence of Lady Cutler this was an important VIP event in the Foundations calendar which saw over 70 people attend this exclusive cocktail style reception. The event is now in its 5th year and provides the Foundation the opportunity to thank & celebrate all our supporters and in particular the Governors and Lieutenant Governors of the Foundation. This has without doubt become the most prestigious and important annual event for the Foundation and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year

EVENTS GOLF DAY May 2017 The Inaugural 2017 Harvey Norman Invitational Foundation Cup was again held at the beautiful & prestigious Concord Golf Club in the Inner West of Sydney. A record 110 players teed off in the Ambrose style event all in the name of Charity. Entertainer/ Comedian Jack Black was the special guest speaker during lunch which culminated in the prize ceremony as well as a fantastic auction to raise much needed Funds. The day was an enormous success with over $17,000 Net raised with all the proceeds going directly towards the maintenance, registration and Insurance costs of the Foundations strong 8 car Fleet used for its core service known as The Pick Me up Service. EVENTS SYDNEY BOYS HIGH SCHOOL COLLECTION DAY November2016 The annual SBH Collection Day organised specifically to help raise funds for the Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundations Pick Me up service took place on Friday the 4 th November 2016. 210 Year 11 Sydney Boys High (SBH) students took part commencing at 7.30am through to 2.00pm around the Sydney CBD covering Central CBD, Circular Quay and Hyde Park areas as well as Bondi Junction in the Eastern Suburbs. The boys did a fantastic job in collecting $8212.00. The SBH Appeal day is now embedded in tradition and very much an integral part of the Foundation fundraising calendar. Most importantly it continues to cement the strong bond established over many years between Sir Roden s old school (SBH) and the Foundation.

GRANTS 2016 Club Grants NSW The Foundation received a record $109,000 in Club Grants during the last financial year! These Grants provide very important revenue streams for the Foundation and allows us to remain sustainable & continue to maintain our current Pick Me Up service as well as cater for some growth. The Foundation would like to thank the following Clubs for their fantastic support during 2016.. Without them the Foundation would not be able to operate and continue as we do today.

GRANTS 2016 GOVERNMENT, COUNCIL & ORGANISATION GRANTS The Foundation applies yearly for Grants to various Government bodies councils & independent organisations throughout Sydney & the Inner West areas. Unfortunately we are not as successful as with our Club Grant applications but nevertheless we do however appreciate the work of local Government members throughout our regions and in particular Mr John Sidoti State Member of Drummoyne and Mr Craig Laundy Federal Member for Reid. Thankyou to West Connex & Stockland Group who through their Community Grant scheme was able to give the Foundation grants throughout the year. We would also like the thank the support of the Woollahra, Randwick & City of Canada Bay Councils for both their financial and pro bono assistance during 2016.

Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation SBH Scholarship The Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation Inc. ( the Foundation ) Board approved the introduction of a scholarship to be offered to a deserving current or incoming Year 11 Sydney Boys High School student. Now in its 6th year the Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Scholarship is awarded to a Year 11 student who has demonstrated leadership, initiative, courage, compassion and a commitment to service to both those around him and the wider community, despite any personal hardships, financial or otherwise. Volunteers - The Foundation is proud to report that we have now over 40 Volunteers on our books. These are wonderful and unselfish people who give their effort & personal time in driving & transporting all our clients throughout the Sydney, Southern, Eastern & Inner West community areas. They are the heart beat of the Foundation. A special mention to one of our Volunteers Mr Warwick Poulden who has been with us since the Foundation Pick Me Up service first started.
