STRATFORD TRANSIT ROUTE CHANGES The proposed route changes are based on information collected from customer contacts; consultant reports as well as staff input. These changes will provide: Improved route consistency and timing Increased service/frequency to high traffic areas and industrial areas New service to areas not currently serviced Additional options to transfer throughout the city
Route 1 - Huron
NEW SERVICE for #1 Huron No Frills (new shelter added) Sobey s (new shelter added) Jennan Subdivision Shoppers Drug Mart on Huron St. O Loane Ave. Also new transfer option! Huron bus to McCarthy bus New shelter on Douglas St. across from walkway to Giant Tiger #1 Huron will continue to serve Cawston St. senior apt s, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Northwestern and St. Michael High Schools, Stratford Cinemas and Avon Public School
Route 2 East End
NEW SERVICE for #2 East End Romeo Public School Oxford St. Condos Douro St. Medical Centre (new shelter added) Canadian Tire Stratford Dental Canada Post Armouries YMCA Youth Centre
#2 East End Cont Also new transfer options! East End to Devon bus and East End to Downie bus New Shelters at back of Festival Marketplace and at the Mark s Work Warehouse Entrance #2 East End will still service industries on Douro St., Zehr s, Food Basics, Stratford Centre, Festival Marketplace and Walmart
Route 3 - McCarthy
NEW SERVICE for #3 McCarthy St. Michael & Northwestern Highschools Rotary Agriplex for Farmer s Market and SLAAA (new shelter added) *Also new transfer option! McCarthy bus to Huron bus and McCarthy bus to Devon bus #3 McCarthy will continue service to McCarthy Place Residence (new shelter added), Greenwood Seniors Residence, Windmill Gardens, Falstaff Family Centre, St. James Church and Lions Pool
Route 4 - Queensland
NEW SERVICE for #4 Queensland The Local Food Centre (new shelter added) House of Blessing (new shelter added) Perth Veterinary Clinic Erie Street East and West Side Market Square at rear of City Hall *Also new transfer option to new #7 Industrial Route! #4 will continue service to Central Secondary School, Hamlet Estates and Woodland Towers, Spruce Lodge, Stratford General Hospital, Emily Murphy Centre and Optimism Place along with access to Wright Industrial Park and Hamlet Public School
Route 5 Devon
NEW SERVICE for #5 Devon Romeo & Jeanne Sauve Schools Bedford Public School Vivian St. Condos Gallery Stratford Factory 163 Falstaff St. Lofts *Also new transfer option to the East End bus and McCarthy bus! #5 will continue to service Shopper s Drug Mart (Ontario St.), Parkview United Church, Arden Park Hotel, Stratford Country Club, River Garden Inn and Romeo Senior Condos
Route 6 Downie
