Welcome to the Local Government Supervisors Association of Western Australia Inc Works & Parks Conference and Exhibition 2018 The Local Government Supervisors Association of Western Australia Inc will hold their Annual Conference & Trade Expo on 15 & 16 August 2018 at The Joondalup Resort, Country Club Blvd, Connolly, WA. This will be the 21 st year this significant event for Western Australia s Supervisors and Officers has been held, and we would like to give your company the opportunity to be a part of this success story. This manual has been produced to provide relevant information to potential exhibitors and sponsors of LGSA WA Inc. It includes important contact information as well as details of exhibition stands (internal) and bays (External), bump in/bump out details and advertising/sponsorship opportunities. With a new venue this year s meeting will be able to accommodate more Exhibitors than ever before, with 6 new internal stands on offer and ample space outside (very close to the venue) for our external exhibitors. So if you have been a valued supporter in the past, we hope the new format and layout will enhance your sales and showcase your products in a new and innovative way. We are committed to encouraging the interaction between Exhibitors Managers / Officers from all Shires by providing them with current information, and showcasing the latest products and technologies available to them. JOONDALUP RESORT INFORMATION The Local Government Supervisors Association Works and Parks conference is being held at the Joondalup Resort, Country Club Blvd, Connolly, Western Australia. Accommodation will be available at the Resort at corporate rates. Please ensure you inform reservations that you are with LGSA on booking to receive this special price. Nestled in natural bush land, just 25 minutes drive north of Perth Central Business District (CBD) and 5 minutes drive from Western Australia's coastline, Joondalup Resort offers a restaurant, cafe and a British style pub. There is an outdoor pool and a function centre. For your convenience there is a variety of room types at Joondalup Resort, including interconnecting rooms, rooms with facilities for disabled guests and twin rooms, which are available on request. Each room has a private balcony or courtyard. Guests can enjoy a day of golf on the championship, 27-hole public golf course that has additional putting greens and a floodlit driving range. INTERNAL EXHIBITION STANDS - INFORMATION All internal exhibition stands will be provided with power (one 5 amp power supply per stand) and rear and side paneling (1 side and rear panel for corner stands) unless two side panels are requested). Paneling will be covered with front- runner material, which is velcro and pin receptive. Fascia boards containing your company name will be in situ in your allocated booth along with a 1.5 metre trestle table, tablecloth and two chairs. All other exhibition furniture may be hired from Advans Exhibition hire, our appointed conference furniture supplier. payment has been received. Their catalogue will be mailed to you once your Remember to bring enough pins, velcro etc to enable you to showcase your products professionally. 4

MAP OF INTERNAL EXHBITION AREA SET UP AND BUMP DOWN TIMES Access to the Internal Exhibition area for set up will be from 2 pm on Monday 13 August (as some Exhibitors may be playing golf on the Tuesday). Bump down will be after the conclusion of morning tea on Thursday 16 August. For your safety please do not enter this area prior to this time. Please ensure you wear high visual vests while setting up and bumping down. 5

EXTERNAL BAY INFORMATION Bay sizes 8 metres x 4 meters You will be met on the day of bump in, (Monday 13 August, if playing golf Tuesday 14 August if you are not) by Glenn Casley our LGSA WA Inc external bay coordinator, who will assist you in finding your allocated bay/s (which will be clearly marked with the bay number). Please note bays 1-4 have a sail above so will suit smaller pieces of equipment. All equipment brought onto site must fit within your allocated bay, if bringing larger equipment please ensure you purchase two bays to accommodate it. No other equipment will be allowed on site and will HAVE to be removed prior to event and parked in the far paddock where sign posed. INSURANCE All Exhibitors should ensure their public liability policy covers their activities whilst away from their principal place of work. Whilst all care is taken, exhibitors should make their own decision as to whether fire and theft cover is required. A security guard will be on site after hours to ensure your equipment is kept safe. EXHIBITORS BADGES Each exhibitor will receive 2 name badges per exhibition stand/bay (4 for a double stand). Exhibitors are requested to wear their badges for the duration of the event to enable them to be easily identified by potential customers and to give them access to the refreshment areas and information sessions. Badges will also have an area for your own business cards for easy access when interacting with delegates. Badges will be placed in your stand area prior to your arrival, along with your Exhibition pack that will contain a note pad and pen and a full program of talks and any other relevant information.
